Smile makeover cost in Vietnam
Classic 8-veneer smile makeover pricing across five SmileJet Vietnamese cities, broken out by package tier and city, with trip cost and Sydney comparison.
By SmileJet Editorial Team · Updated May 2026
A smile makeover in Vietnam costs US$2,800–US$3,600 for the Classic package (8 porcelain veneers plus in-chair whitening and gum reshaping) depending on city. Sydney patients pay A$12,000–A$20,000 for an equivalent result. The procedure is done in a single trip of 5–7 days: preparation and temporaries on days one and two, a lab turnaround of 3–4 days, then final fitting and adjustments. No second trip is required. All five SmileJet partner cities run smile makeovers to the same protocol, using E.max or zirconia veneers from accredited laboratories.

Budget entry point for patients wanting to address the upper front six teeth only. Includes in-chair whitening to match veneer shade. Suitable where the smile line is narrow.
The most popular package. Covers the full smile frame visible in a broad smile — upper central and lateral incisors plus first and second premolars. Includes gum reshaping where indicated.
Full upper arch transformation. Adds the upper first molars and composite bonding for any minor lower tooth corrections that would otherwise contrast with the new upper veneers.

Smile makeover planning: what happens on each day
Day 1: consultation and digital smile design
Your treating dentist photographs your current smile, scans your bite digitally, and builds a smile design mockup on screen. You see the proposed shade, tooth shape, and gum line before any preparation begins. Adjustments are made at this stage — not after teeth have been prepared. Most patients find this the most reassuring part of the process.
Day 2: preparation and temporaries
Teeth are prepared (0.3-0.7mm of enamel removed for porcelain veneers, or reshaping for no-prep cases). Impressions are taken and sent to the partner laboratory. Temporary resin veneers are fitted the same day so you leave looking and functioning normally — no exposed teeth during the lab window.
Days 3-5: laboratory fabrication
The permanent veneers are fabricated at the partner dental laboratory (typically 3-4 working days). Patients are free to explore Vietnam during this window. Hoi An Ancient Town, Da Nang beach, or HCMC day trips are the most common choices during the lab window. A soft-food diet is recommended while temporaries are in place.
Day 6-7: bonding and finishing
Temporaries are removed, the permanent veneers are tried in dry for shade and fit approval, then bonded using dental adhesive and a curing light. Bite is adjusted and any contact points refined. Written aftercare notes and a shade record are provided. Most patients fly home on day 7 or 8.
