The design is fine for treatment in Colombia. If you're traveling/living elsewhere, it's not advisable. The doctor is good, however, the ceramic lenses come loose in less than half a year. I'm in Germany and had to undergo treatment again here because the ceramic lenses didn't adhere satisfactorily....
