Data Deletion Request

SmileJet (operated by Smilejet LLC) respects your right to have your personal data deleted. This page explains what data we may hold about you and how to request its deletion – including data collected through Meta platforms (Facebook Messenger, Facebook Login).

What Data We May Hold

• Name and contact details (email address, phone number) provided when requesting a quote or creating an account.
• Dental treatment interests and any health information you voluntarily shared.
• Reviews or other content you submitted on the Service.
• Facebook Messenger conversation history exchanged with our coordinators.
• Usage and analytics data associated with your account or device.

How to Request Deletion

You can request deletion of your data in either of the following ways:

Option 1 – Email Request

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:

• Your full name.
• The email address or phone number associated with your SmileJet account.
• A brief description of the data you want deleted (or "all data" for a full erasure).

Option 2 – In-App Account Deletion

If you have a SmileJet account, log in and navigate to Account Settings → Delete My Account. This will schedule immediate deletion of your account and all associated personal data.

What Happens After You Request

• We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days.
• We will complete the deletion within 30 days of verification, unless a legal obligation requires us to retain certain data for longer.
• We will notify you by email once the deletion is complete.
• Some data may be retained in anonymized or aggregated form that cannot identify you.

Meta Platform Data

If you connected your Facebook account or interacted with SmileJet through a Meta platform, you can also manage or revoke SmileJet's permissions directly in your Facebook account:

1. Go to your Facebook Settings.
2. Navigate to Security and Login → Apps and Websites.
3. Find SmileJet and click Remove.

Revoking permissions in Facebook removes SmileJet's access to future Meta platform data but does not automatically delete data already stored by SmileJet. Submit a deletion request using the method above to have that data erased.
