What is All-on-4

All-on-4 is a full-arch implant solution: four titanium implants placed in the jaw, supporting a fixed bridge that replaces all teeth in one arch. The two rear implants are angled (typically 30 to 45 degrees) to maximise bone contact without requiring bone grafts in most cases.

Compared to conventional full-arch implants (six to eight per arch), All-on-4 uses fewer implants, fits within most existing bone, and can often support a temporary fixed bridge on the day of surgery ("same-day teeth"). This is the most common treatment for patients who are edentulous or whose remaining teeth are failing.

The permanent bridge — usually zirconia for durability and aesthetics — is fitted on the second trip after osseointegration, typically four to six months after placement. By the end of two trips, patients have a complete, fixed, non-removable set of teeth.

Why patients choose Phnom Penh for All-on-4

The lowest mainland All-on-4 price

A single arch from US$6,200 is the lowest mainland starting price on SmileJet — meaningfully below HCMC, Da Nang, and Bangkok equivalents. Both arches from US$11,800 saves the average Australian patient over A$36,000 versus Sydney quotes.

Same implant components

SmileWorld Dental Cambodia and Royal Phnom Penh Dental Hospital stock Nobel Biocare and Straumann components — the brands Australian All-on-4 specialists use. Only the surrounding overhead differs.

Recovery in BKK1 or Riverside

Post-op recovery requires minimal activity. Phnom Penh's BKK1 and Daun Penh & Riverside neighbourhoods are ideal: short walks, soft Khmer cuisine (kuy teav, num pang with soft filling), and low ambient stress.
