Goodness Dental Costa Rica

I completed my dental treatment with Goodness Dental about 10 days ago and am very happy with my results. My teeth were discolored from taking tetracycline as a teenager, and they were very short due to grinding. I hated my dark smile. I thought I wanted veneers, but they suggested zirconia crowns due to my grinding, and they could lengthen my teeth with crowns. I had 19 crowns done, and my smile looks great. The office was very clean, and all of the staff were very professional. I highly recommend this dental clinic. Costa Rica is a great place to vacation and have dental work done at a much lower cost than in the U.S. I stayed at the Vista Canyon Inn, which was one of the places recommended by the dental clinic. It was a wonderful place to stay. The place is small, has beautiful canyon views, and the staff is so welcoming. The breakfasts are so good. The staff helped us with booking tours and the tour busses picked us up at the hotel. I would not change a thing about my dental vacation in Costa Rica.

I had five implants done at Goodness Dental and I would highly recommend their service. My wife and I flew in from Stuart Florida and stayed in the Goodness Hotel Presidential Suite. Evelyn manages the Hotel and will take care of anything you need especially after you get worked on!...she was great. The dental staff is terrific and they really do care about you. My teeth align perfectly and it was worth making the trip. We even took a vacation to the Arenal Volcano before hand. We met several fellow implant patients at the hotel from the US and Canada and made fast friends! I am hopeful you will have a great experience and save a TON of money in the process. Good Luck :)

I am writing this review as the person who paid for services and accompanied a family member for treatment. We chose this provider believing they were professionals. Unfortunately, our experience was the opposite. The services provided were not completed as promised, and more importantly, Brandon was physically hurt as a result of the work performed. After the appointment, it became clear that the quality of work was poor and that he would require a full correction by another provider to repair the damage that was done. This caused him unnecessary pain, stress, and created an additional financial burden for our family. When we attempted to resolve the issue directly, communication was inconsistent and no meaningful solution was offered. We were left without support, accountability, or a plan to fix what had happened. As a result, I disputed the charge with my credit card company. The dispute was reviewed and approved, and the payment was successfully reimbursed due to services not rendered and services not as promised. In addition to our experience I am in communication with several others that are in worse situations than we were. I would strongly caution others to thoroughly research and consider alternative providers before trusting this business. Our experience was painful, disappointing, and avoidable. The response from Goodness dental shows exactly how you are treated when you say that something is wrong. They downplay your pain, dismiss your concerns and when they are met with pushback they beg you to come back and call it “warranty work.” There is nothing warranty about placing crowns incorrectly it’s poor workmanship and should be handled with care. You can see the flood of positive reviews from people following our review but I have been in contact with 5 people since we left that are all experiencing similar or worse issues than my partner did. I’m truly very happy with the final outcome of my dental work at Goodness Dental. I needed two implants along with veneers to match, and the end result looks incredibly natural, honestly, like a more refined version of my original teeth. Exactly how I had hoped. The clinicians were patient, detail-oriented, and very kind throughout the process, even allowing me to FaceTime my wife during color matching to make sure everything felt right. The team’s professionalism and warmth are top-notch. That said, my experience wasn’t completely seamless, and I think it’s helpful for future patients to understand both the strengths of this clinic and some realities of the process. My initial plan was to complete the work in two visits, as is typical for implants. During my first visit, I received a retainer for the healing phase. At the trial appointment the day before final fitting, everything looked fine. However, on the final fit day, the retainer I received was very different from the test version. It covered more than half of my natural teeth with gum-colored plastic, making my teeth appear extremely small. I was told at that point that no adjustments were possible. Because the retainer was not usable, I requested to stay an additional week so a new one could be made. The clinic kindly accommodated this at no extra dental cost, but I did incur an extra week of lodging, flight changes, and missed work. The second retainer turned out perfect, better than the teeth I had replaced, and it showed me how capable the team truly is when everything goes as planned. About three months after receiving my implants, I noticed redness around one implant. A local dentist recommended I return to Goodness Dental to address what looked like an infection. The clinic quickly scheduled me within a week and replaced the implant at no dental charge. While I believe this kind of complication can happen anywhere and wasn’t necessarily their fault, it did require an unexpected second trip to Costa Rica, with added travel, accommodations, and time away from work. On my third and final visit, everything went very smoothly. The team handled scheduling and accommodations seamlessly, and they took great care in delivering a natural, aesthetic result that matched exactly what I had hoped for. In the end, I am extremely pleased with my teeth. The quality of the final work is excellent, and the cost is far more reasonable than what I would have paid in NYC. For me, the result was worth the extra time and effort. I would absolutely recommend Goodness Dental for their skill, kindness, and value. I would just encourage future patients to plan for the possibility that the process may take longer than expected and to budget time and flexibility for potential adjustments along the way.

I came here bc my tooth cracked in mexico right before my flight to costa rica. I happened upon this clinic and I'll be forever grateful. This is my forever facility, as a USA resident. Im very squimish and their bedside is impecable. I decided to have any and everything done: 3 pulled teeth for implants, 14 cavities filled, 1 chipped tooth fixed, and whitening procedures. Came back 9 months later to finish the work and they welcomed me back with open arms. If you're thinking about international dentistry I highly recommend this location.
