I came to Smile Now Cancun after running into a frustrating situation with my dental insurance in the U.S. Even though my plan was supposed to cover the work I needed, they ultimately refused to approve it. Instead of continuing to fight with insurance, I decided to look into dental care in Mexico, and I’m so glad I did. Sebastian was the first person I connected with, and he made the entire experience so easy. He was calm, incredibly informative and extremely patient with my million questions. Traveling to another country for dental work can feel intimidating, but he made me feel completely comfortable and confident in my decision. He is truly an asset to this office and team. Dr. Lucia performed my procedure and was wonderful. She was warm, professional, and took the time to walk me through everything step by step so I knew exactly what to expect. Her bedside manner was amazing and she made me feel safe and cared for throughout the entire process. Dr. Lillian handled my cosmetic work and did an incredible job. I’m so happy with the results. There were also a few other staff members who helped along the way whose names I unfortunately don’t remember, but every single person I interacted with was kind, professional, and welcoming. The entire team made what could have been a stressful experience feel easy and comfortable. I have a wonderful dentist and staff back home that I love, but I truly cannot recommend Smile Now Cancun enough. The level of professionalism, kindness, and care I received here exceeded my expectations. If you’re considering dental work in Cancun, this clinic is absolutely worth it. 😊

I had a great experience with Smile Now. From when I made first contact throughout my treatment. Sebastian reached out to me within hours of completing my contact form. I really appreciated the responsiveness. Then from when I arrived the team was super responsive and flexible to my schedule. The Dr. explained what he was doing every step of the way. I have a couple more steps to my treatment and I feel alot more comfortable and confident coming back after meeting with the team and getting treatment.

I think this will be the most honest review I've ever given, haha. When I arrived, the service was excellent, and everyone involved was very professional and incredibly kind, always clear about everything and anticipating any concerns I might have. Everything was great. Unfortunately, I'd never experienced such genuine and efficient treatment, empathy, and a real concern for understanding and caring for you in the field of oral health before. They were undoubtedly very warm and humane at all times, without losing sight of their objective approach to finding solutions. I went for just an evaluation, and they ended up earning my trust enough for me to continue my treatment with them. Tell me, when have you ever felt so cared for in a place like this? Haha, I was simply amazed. And the facilities? I was blown away! They know how to make excellent use of today's technology, and everything is very organized and super clean. I loved going! ✨️

I want to preface that the clinic and team were polite in getting my business, and worked overtime to assist me during my time there. However, I think a transparent conversation about the complexity of my case and their ability to give me proper care should have happened instead of taking my money, roughly $2,500 USD. I have repetitively asked for two months now to receive FSA paperwork and also to receive my final x-rays. I have not received either and it seems to be difficult for them to follow up. I reached out following complications from my crown placements, and they suggested a prescription mouthwash to help but dropped communication after my follow up questions. I decided to follow up with an in-country care team, and found out I have an infection and have experienced bone loss due to the placement of my crowns. Also, my crowns that were placed were built too wide at the top, which is also causing other complications. The finished product looks aesthetically pleasing. However, my case was too complex for them to pick up and is resulting in me having to replace their work immediately.

I went to this clinic hoping to resolve a specific problem: a toothache. Unfortunately, the experience was completely disappointing and frustrating from the start. The first thing they did was subject me to extensive administrative procedures, including a photo session, which I frankly consider unnecessary and unprofessional in a medical setting. After a superficial examination, they gave me an incorrect diagnosis, which led to inadequate and expensive treatment that did absolutely nothing to resolve my problem. I ended up spending over 35,000 pesos, with no results and the distinct feeling of having been scammed. The "specialists" who treated me displayed an alarming lack of experience, and the management of the place leaves much to be desired. The manager, in particular, clearly demonstrates an interest only in the patient's money, not their health. Fortunately, I sought a second opinion at a reputable and professional clinic, where they successfully resolved the real problem for less than 7,000 pesos. The difference is simply staggering. I'm sharing this experience with the sole purpose of warning others. This place not only represents a waste of money, time, and health, but also an example of how medical practice should NOT be carried out. It's unacceptable that they continue operating under these conditions.

Excellent experience. Dr Edgar was a tooth artist, and explained everything as he was doing it. Appreciated the flexibility of the team in getting me into the office as well. I would not recommend them for facial services. My wife said the facial was nice, but it takes place in a dental chair with the tools and sounds of a dental office all around you.

I flew in From Florida to Canun to have my work done here at Smile Now. Not only did they save me a ton of money over the cost of doing the same dental work in the States, they also made me feel right at home. From the hostess to the dental assistants, everyone was happy and friendly. Very professional spot with start of the art equipment and facilities. I had a root canal done, a crown replacement, a few cavities filled and a teeth cleaning, couldn’t be happier with the work. I’ve back with the year to do a teeth whitening and I’m binging my wife and brother in law to get their dental work done. 10/10 would recommend, especially if you live in the states and are overwhelmed by the high prices there. I stayed a week in Cancun, plus my flights and all the dental work and it was still cheaper than a single root canal in the US.

I went for a deep dental cleaning because I had quite a buildup of tartar. First, they applied an anesthetic gel to my gums to avoid discomfort. Then they used an ultrasonic device to remove the tartar without damaging the enamel, and finally, they polished my teeth with a special paste. Everything was very careful and painless. I left with sparkling teeth and an incredible feeling of freshness. Excellent service.
