Important โ€” about this score

Please read before drawing conclusions about this clinic.

This score is an automated, opinion-based assessment generated by SmileJet's proprietary AI algorithm from publicly available information โ€” including aggregated third-party reviews, clinic-published materials, and other open-source signals. It is not a statement of verified fact, a professional medical opinion, or an endorsement, and individual experiences may differ.

How the algorithm penalises scores

Our methodology applies score reductions where signals are detected that, in the algorithm's assessment, may indicate: unverifiable or potentially overstated claims about clinical experience or credentials; review patterns the model flags as inconsistent with organic user behaviour; or limited independent corroboration of marketing statements.

These adjustments reflect algorithmic signal-weighting only and do not constitute an allegation of any specific wrongdoing by this clinic or its staff.

The doctors here have a bad, unfriendly attitude, and that's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the wealthy.

I'd like to share my experience with Dentist Ni. The doctor speaks both Russian and Vietnamese. This was a big plus for me right awayโ€”she was the only one who could explain to me the difference between a bridge and an implant. I've been to many clinics, and they all said, "Decide for yourself." I've had an implant done, had cavities treated, and had multiple cleanings with her. Honestly, every time I left feeling like I'd found "my" dentist. She does everything carefully, without rushing, and explains in simple terms what's happening and why. I'm especially pleased that after each appointment, she writes and asks how you're feeling. The clinic itself is also top-notch: clean and organized. If you're looking for a dentist in Vietnam who will make you feel calm and comfortable, I highly recommend it.

A good, modern dental clinic with 3D imaging, everything is fast and accurate. I was treated by Dr. Avocado; he speaks Russian and English very well, making everything clear and convenient.

Like many others, I thought Dr. Ni was a truly great doctor and a good person, but behind that sweet smile and Russian voice that puts you at ease and makes you feel at ease, there's a completely different person. While you're paying and you have to ask for a review, everything's fine, and then... Updating my review after almost two years. Until I'd paid in full, my relationship with the doctor was very attentive and friendly. But after I paid, I began to feel like the doctor (Dr. Avocado on Telegram) was increasingly enjoying taking my money and finding new problems that needed urgent solutions. Initially, I came with a clear requestโ€”a turnkey treatment. However, six months after the implant surgery, when the dental implantation stage was about to begin, I suddenly discovered that three or four more teeth had appeared in my previously "fully cured" jaw, which needed treatment and crowns. It might seem like a small thing, but when this happens unexpectedly and costs $300 per crown, it's an unpleasant surprise. Okay, I paid. The crowns were installed, and I flew home to Thailand. But just 15 days later, one of the crowns simply fell out. Naturally, I went to the dentistโ€”after all, I pay for every flight to Vietnam and hotel stay myself, and that's quite expensive, especially when the problem wasn't my fault. We agreed that the dentist would cover the repairs. We also decided to have my teeth cleaned and fix a few minor issues. Incidentally, one of them was a spot on my front tooth that I initially disliked. At the time, the dentist said the only option was a full dental treatment and a replacement crown for $300. But when the issue was being fixed at the dentist's expense, it turned out there was a different solution. The dentist's assistant, who didn't understand Russian, cleaned the bridge quite aggressively during the procedure. I had a feeling it might be unsafeโ€”and, as it turned out, rightfully so. About a month after these procedures, the bridge started to become loose. I wrote to the dentist again. They told me they'd look at the images and tell me how serious it was. The answer came quickly: "You're fine, the bridge will last a long time." However, about a month later, a large, purulent lump appeared on my gum where the bridge had been. And then the doctor said it needed urgent treatment. Unfortunately, at that point, I was having financial difficulties, and I wasn't ready to pay another $2,000-$3,000 to "make everything perfect," especially given my previous experience, which had seriously shaken my trust. When the bridge eventually fell out, it was impossible to walk without teeth, so I planned to fly to see this doctor on March 22nd. But as soon as it became clear that I had less money and was starting to not just pay but also ask questions and make complaints about the quality of the work, the communication changed dramatically. Responses began arriving once a dayโ€”at best. Messages might go unread for 48-72 hours. When I started to complain, they told me I was "getting into a fight." Meanwhile, the questions remained essentially unanswered. Ultimately, I decided to look for another doctor. I no longer trust this specialist, and I personally categorically cannot recommend him to others. At the beginning of our relationship, the doctor was literally constantly calling and texting me and my girlfriend, showing great attention and concern. But, it seemed to me, this lasted only as long as there was financial interest. When the money ran out and complaints about the quality of the work arose, the attitude changed dramatically. Now, my messages are read and responded to very formally, without specificsโ€”as if the goal is not to solve the patient's problem, but simply to "win the argument." For example, they write to me: "Clarify the details, and I will be happy to answer." But when I clarify these details, the messages are readโ€”and the response is silence for a day or more. It's very unpleasant to invest a lot of money, to spare no expense for the sake of results, only to end up with a result that isn't what you expected, and then to be treated with such disregard. I wonโ€™t go into detail, but my friends also went to her and also complained about the alterations and flaws.

Frequently Asked Questions

What treatments does Dental 365 in Hanoi offer? โ–พ
Dental 365 covers a broad range of dental services, including cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, and general dentistry. Cosmetic options include porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, and smile makeovers. On the orthodontic side, the clinic provides traditional braces and clear aligners. General dentistry covers routine check-ups, scaling and polishing, fillings, tooth extractions, and wisdom tooth removal. The clinic is equipped with modern technology and the team is described by patients as skilled and gentle throughout procedures.
How do costs at Dental 365 compare to Australia or the UK? โ–พ
Dental treatment in Hanoi typically costs 60-80% less than equivalent care in Australia, the UK, or North America. At Dental 365, a full set of porcelain veneers may range around USD 900-2,500 depending on the number of teeth and material, compared to AUD 2,000-4,000 per tooth back home. Teeth cleaning and basic fillings are significantly more affordable as well. Many international patients find they can cover travel costs and still achieve substantial savings, making Hanoi a practical destination for dental work.
Is Dental 365 accredited or internationally certified? โ–พ
Dental 365 is an approved clinic on the SmileJet platform, meaning it has passed a basic quality screening. The clinic operates under Vietnam's Ministry of Health licensing requirements, which govern dental facility standards, sterilisation protocols, and practitioner qualifications. While specific international accreditations such as JCI are not listed in the current profile, the clinic uses advanced equipment and follows professional care standards, as reflected in its 4.74-star rating across 89 reviews. If accreditation documentation is important to your decision, it is worth requesting directly from the clinic before booking.
Does Dental 365 have English-speaking staff? โ–พ
Dental 365 serves both local Vietnamese patients and international visitors. The clinic's website is available in Vietnamese, and English communication capability may vary by staff member. It is advisable to confirm English language support when you first make contact. Many dental clinics in Hanoi's central areas have at least one bilingual team member or use translation aids for consultations. SmileJet's partner coordination can also assist with communication if needed when arranging your appointment.
How many days should I plan for a dental trip to Dental 365? โ–พ
The number of days depends on the treatment. A teeth cleaning or single filling can be completed in one visit, so a short two or three-day trip is feasible. Porcelain veneers typically require two appointments spaced about five to seven days apart for the temporary and final placement, meaning a stay of seven to ten days is realistic. Dental implants involve a healing period of three to six months between implant placement and crown fitting, so most international patients plan two separate trips. Discuss your treatment plan with the clinic before booking flights to get a personalised timeline.
What implant brands does Dental 365 use? โ–พ
The clinic profile does not currently list specific implant brand names. When planning an implant procedure, it is worth asking the clinic directly which brands they stock, as this affects both quality expectations and long-term warranty coverage. Reputable clinics in Vietnam commonly use systems from brands such as Osstem, MegaGen, Straumann, or Nobel Biocare. Knowing the brand also helps if you need follow-up care from a dentist in your home country after returning from Hanoi.
Can I get veneers and a check-up done in a single trip? โ–พ
Yes, routine treatments such as a check-up, cleaning, whitening, and composite fillings can all be completed within a single visit or across a few days. Porcelain veneers generally require at least two appointments because the teeth need to be prepared, impressions taken, and then the final veneers bonded after the dental lab produces them. If you plan a stay of seven to ten days, you can comfortably complete a veneer case along with a cleaning and any other minor work. Dental 365's team can map out a session schedule once they know your full treatment needs.
What technology and equipment does the clinic use? โ–พ
Dental 365 is described by patients as equipped with advanced dental technology. Modern clinics in Hanoi at this level typically use digital X-rays, which reduce radiation exposure compared to traditional film, along with intraoral cameras that let you see what the dentist sees in real time. Many also use CAD/CAM or work with same-city dental labs for fast turnaround on crowns and veneers. Sterilisation equipment that meets international protocols is standard. For specific details on the technology available, it is best to ask the clinic directly during your initial consultation.
What aftercare support is available once I return home? โ–พ
After treatment at Dental 365, patients can reach out to the clinic via phone or messaging apps such as Zalo or WhatsApp for post-treatment questions. Reviews from patients highlight that the team followed up proactively after procedures such as tooth extractions. For more complex work like implants or braces, the clinic can advise on what to watch for and provide written aftercare instructions. SmileJet's partner coordination can also assist with communication if you experience any issues once you are back in your home country and need to relay concerns to the clinic.
How do I book an appointment or request a quote? โ–พ
The easiest way to get started is to submit an enquiry through the Dental 365 profile page on SmileJet. You can describe your dental concerns and, if you have recent X-rays or photos, attach them to give the clinic enough information to provide a preliminary quote. Dental 365 also has a website at dental365.vn where you can reach the team directly. Once you receive a treatment plan and cost estimate, you can coordinate appointment dates around your travel schedule. Booking in advance is recommended, especially during peak travel months.
