three months later and now after nearly four years i have had no trouble and my teeth are the best they have been in many years. I now have six monthly checkups, clean and scale, but I have not needed any further dental work over the last four years. I can confidently recommend this highly professional practice. end. She was very kind, polite, and informative with what needed to be done, but she was not pushy. I also was impressed with her ability to calm my nerves. The facility is state of the art, modern, spacious, the moment I walked in I knew I would be coming back and referring all my friends and relatives to come here. The check in - check out process was quick and easy. I wish I could give them 10 stars, because there was almost no pain the whole time I was on her chair.

the work and cutting edge technology and treatment protocols offered here makes that slightly higher price point well worth it, IMHO, and it’s still 50% to 75% cheaper than the US or AU. I love caring for my teeth but I’m phobic of any treatment involving a drill. That noise! That vibration! And you can forget about any other kind of dentistry-related power tools. I'm a big fan of "sleep dentistry", or IV sedation, which Westcoast offers -- an anaesthesiologist puts you under before the instruments are even produced and then monitors you during the course of your treatment. I had IV sedation at Westcoast a couple of years back when I had my wisdom teeth out prior to undergoing Invisalign treatment. It's the best... You sleep through the whole thing, and when you wake up, everything is done! This January, I travelled to Vietnam specifically because my dentist in the US had told me I needed a root canal treatment (RCT). Unbelievably I could fly to Vietnam, have the surgery under IV sedation and get the requisite crown for the same price as having the RCT done while awake in the US. After diagnostics (CT scan, Xrays and two consultations) Dr. Andrew and his team recommended that I didn't have the RCT as my symptoms didn't warrant it. But, seeing as I was here, I figured I would seize the opportunity to get a few other things taken care of. I needed an implant on my lower jaw to fill a gap left when my baby tooth fell out and there was no adult tooth to replace it (my childhood dentist told me I was among 3% of the population that has this condition). While you couldn’t see the gap when I smiled, my post-Invisalign teeth were moving because of it and were getting wonky and weirdly spaced at the front. Dr. Andrew and I decided that we go ahead with placing a Straumann implant in the gap, and do a cleaning and whitening at the same time under IV (whitening can sometimes be a little uncomfortable). When I arrived at the clinic for my surgery, Dr. Andrew talked me through the procedure, I sat down in the chair and the team covered me with a blanket, tucked me and told me to relax and go to sleep. Next thing I know, I’m opening my eyes and the hygienist Ms. Hang is finishing my whitening treatment. My implant body was in and my teeth were clean and white! The staff gave me some delicious congee to take home to eat; that night I had a looong sleep and the next day I returned to my daily activities. For a couple of days after, I had a little discomfort that was easily managed with painkillers provided by the clinic and a little bit of swelling that soon disappeared. I think the whitening after-zings were the most annoying part! Thanks, Dr. Andrew and the Westcoast team for making trips to the dentist something to look forward to -- any treatment is stress- and pain-free and my teeth look amazing afterwards! :)

crowns, the spacing and the final product were explained and then executed by the lab technician Mr. Andreas. When the crowns were fitted, great care was taken to ensure that my bite was correct, and that I could floss between all my teeth (something I couldn’t do before). My gums are now healthy, I do not have gingivitis, and the roots of my teeth are not showing through. The discolored teeth and the various white colored fillings are no longer! I can smile confidently for the first time in many, many years. I feel that my arthritic legs have benefited from less inflammation caused by the amalgam fillings. Thank you for providing me with such a confident smile as I interact with people. This surgery was needed and while I know it is labeled as cosmetic, it was necessary for me to enjoy a better life. al specialist that I would need to commit my time and efforts, in order to realize my intended results. Basically, I went online to search for the highest rated clinics in HCMC. There are several! I narrowed my selection down to 3 clinics. I scheduled exams, received consultations and made multiple visits to the clinics where I was met by the dental specialist’s, one of which would become my personal dental advocate. I received 3 differing treatment plans. That confused me initially and created some stress. However this situation forced me to learn about my specific condition in relation to each the plans I received. In essence I learned about all my options and subsequently, I determined which would be the highest and best plan for me. When I met with Dr. Andrew from WIDC, I was immediately impressed! His fluent English ability, qualifications, attitude and level of experience were all topnotch. Furthermore he seemed to genuinely care about my concerns! With patience and sincerity he provided me with the most extensive, preliminary care I’ve ever received. His level of advocacy and professionalism was outstanding. It was a bit challenging to figure out which plan offered the most bang for the buck $, there are many variables to consider. However after meeting Dr. Andrew, the cost of my treatment plan became secondary to the incredible care and clarity I knew I would be receiving at the WIDC. The bottom line is this, after all my research and discoveries the WIDC is simply the best clinic for me! Best, Philip York
