walked through the door. More than that in the the two weeks or so that I have had appointments at the clinic I felt that i have made some very good friends. The professionalism of the treating staff is absolutely second to none. I have had a couple of implants, a sinus lift and a filling and I have never had such great treatment and follow up Care anywhere. Dr Andrew the Cinical Director is a highly skilled and attentive practitioner who has done a superb job completing the first stage of my treatment. He personally followed up after the surgery and was always available and responsive to any concerns I had - nothing was too much trouble. Dr. Nguyen Tran Nhu An who prepared me for surgery was excellent. She was extremely gentle and explained to me in detail the work that she was undertaking. Something different with this dental experience was that the dentist and the dental nurses were fully committed to my treatment while I was there - none of the 'carousel treatment' that I've had in other places where dentist is with you for a few miniutes and then pops out to see other patients while you wait. I very much appreciated this. I'm already booked to return to Vietnam from Australia later in the year. I have 4 wisdom teeth extracted here, 2 of them were not easy and need to do surgery. I was so nervous at first but I didn’t think that procedure was so quick and safe and I didn’t feel much pain as people said. Thank you Dr. Andrew

The prices are very high. But the service is excellent. I had over 10 fillings done, costing around 11 million VND. However, one tooth hurt after the filling, requiring 3 or 4 visits for check-ups before it had to be removed and redone with a different material to relieve the pain. here. The doctor is lovely and pleasant, but their skill level is hit or miss. I will come back here for a teeth cleaning. They are open on Sundays. However, if you call on a Sunday, a Japanese woman answers, and she doesn't speak Vietnamese (this is why I lost points even though I speak English, because I felt insulted that a Vietnamese person had to speak English in Vietnam).

Tuyet Phi. My sister was very satisfied, so she introduced me to Westcoast. I met Dr. Nhu An to check up and consult. After talking with the doctor, I felt very secure and decided to let the doctor remove the old, broken teeth to make 2 new porcelain teeth for me, including 10 upper front teeth and 6 lower front teeth. The results are very beautiful and natural like real teeth. I am really happy and satisfied Dr. Nhu An is skilled, dedicated, and patient in relieving my worries. The two assistants of the doctor were very enthusiastic and cheerful when working for me. I also thank The lab Technician Mr. Andreas for his contribution to beautifying my two porcelain teeth. Had my teeth cleaned and a crown replaced for a very reasonable price. The staff are very friendly and the Dentist very informative with high level of skill. The clinic is very clean, English language is available, US credit cards are accepted. I highly recommend this Dentist clinic.

well over two hours examining, giving a thorough cleaning, panoramic xray, and explaining all of my options for my current situation. I opted after her consultation to have zirconia crowns on the front teeth I wasn't happy with. I'd had implants done at home last year on my "canines" ( not sure if that's the proper term) along with some other crowns and frankly I looked like a vampire. Bad color, hugely oversized and off angle. It was a mess. I thought of having no prep veneers (durathin) on some front teeth might balance it out but it turned out that the composite fillings I had on those teeth took that option away. The crowns were only a tiny bit more and ended up looking superb. Dr Tien also corrected my bite, reshaped some other sloppy work and for less than the price of one crown at home, perfectly matched and placed five new ones. Having an in-house lab is a big plus. The work was done quickly and precisely the first time. Not like the two to four attempts at home and weeks of wasted time. Sorry USA, but If I ever need dental work in the future I'm coming back to Vietnam and getting it done right the first time and at an exceptional bargain of a price. One other quick note, I really appreciate the one on one personal service. At home dentists seem to go "triage" mode between several patients at once. Not here. Dr Tien was there hands on from start to finish. That really made an enormous difference to me. Thank you for making me feel special and doing a phenomenal job!

ey don't rush too fast before anaesthesia takes effect for example. On my first visit, they took x-rays and inspected each tooth with care to make sure no cavity or other disease is missed. The treatment advised along its cost are clearly communicated before going ahead with a treatment. It's well organised, I never had to wait, I assume they let a bit of a gap between appointments or something, it's astonishing. All in all very satisfied, highly recommend!

the wisdom tooth area making it bleed, suggested to take out the tooth. Cost added up to 600/700usd. First Dr. took lots of unnecessary xrays, costed 35usd for that consultation. Seeing Dr Andrew included taking another 3d scan (even I already hd sent them a full panoramic one) whic added extra 50usd. I ended up seeing another reputable dentist, which checked up the wisdom tooth, said it was fine, no infection, suggested how to take care of it, and find a cavity after 10 seconds of checking. Total cost: 0$ (i didnt fix the cavity yet). I would avoid West coast at all cost. 👎🏻

Dear Ariel, Thank you for your review and sharing the details of your examination publicly. I hope you are well and your pain is better. I am writing a reply to your review regarding your feedback that my and my colleague’s professional conduct was unprofessional. We did try to contact you many times via your e-mail account and your website with no response. I hoped to start a dialogue with you to explain that our intention was to help you and inform you the seriousness of your situation. I read that you feel 35 USD for an exam and x-rays was extremely expensive especially when you can go to another clinic where it is free. Our examination fees are routinely informed to people including yourself coming beforehand. However, I would feel angry if dentists took x-rays and scans for no other purpose than to make money. In our case, Dr. Anh took x-rays in order to spot dental disease. She found serious issues. She spent one hour in this consultation and further time to develop a plan. This is different than a 10 second look by another reputable dentist in whom you saw. That dentist stated that your problem is just a filling but I must inform you that this diagnosis is inaccurate and incomplete. All professional dentists take x-rays in order to determine dental disease per tooth, to clearly know the plan of how they will approach it and to avoid complications. The rationale for taking x-rays was ethical. Thanks for acknowledging that there was bleeding of the wisdom tooth with probing. I stand by the advice to have this tooth removed. Despite the best oral hygiene that anyone may have, bacteria and food will be able to creep under the gum and reach this wisdom tooth. Besides bleeding, pain, redness and bad breath are also signs of inflammation and it is advisable to remove wisdom teeth early rather than wait for complications to occur. If you have received advice on how to avoid removal by a special way of cleaning, then please share with me. I would like to share with other dentists. Such a break through therapy in resolving wisdom teeth partial impactions would be invaluable to millions of dentists. Regarding taking a CT scan, this may be indicated when the removal of a deeply impacted wisdom tooth can be difficult and may lead to permanent nerve damage. Wisdom tooth that completely lies on top of the nerve that provides sensation for the lower lip and chin need to be carefully assessed. What we don’t want is permanent numbness of the face. Perhaps the detailed treatment plan that was written for you confused you. Procedures such as root canal and extraction are not 600/ 700 USD. The plan outlines 5 other procedural items – some of which as larger that the root canal itself such as a ceramic crown. I hope you realize the severity of your condition. We didn't do anything wrong with our thorough exam with x-rays. I encourage you to get another opinion outside of Vietnam to decide what is best for your dental health. Rush job. Checked in on time, over half an hour later my dentist spotted me waiting! Glad I sat in the waiting area right in Front of the reception. Believe the new manager, Amanda's replacement, was present but not attentive, just chitchatting. There were three staffs but they seem blinded. Very frustrating experience.
There is a Japanese dentist on staff. I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed here. I also had the cavities and tooth sensitivity treatment that came with it. I am very satisfied. If you have any dental concerns in Vietnam, please come here.
