Where do I begin?.. Probably saying how useless some of the dentists are in the USA ( sorry, not sorry) who charge astronomical amounts with poor quality jobs and then some of us have to travel internationally to get dental job redone. I appreciate her honesty, never felt rushed, every visit she wanted to be sure I was comfortable and not in pain, she is very detail oriented and I can tell that she loves her job! Her professionalism is beyond! Also, I had a pleasure to work with Dr. Mario, he is a very comforting and experienced surgeon who explains all the procedures in details. Making sure I was content while he was working. Very grateful for job he did on me! All my visits during the trip were prompt, professional and I didn’t feel just a number or a ‘money bag’. If you looking for reliable clinic with professional doctors who want to help you, please don’t look further.

and enjoy all foods, I can speak without any trace of a lisp (from the temporary removable dentures), they are incredibly comfortable and I couldn't be happier. Dra. Ale did an absolutely amazing job! My prior review from last November (below) explains how I felt about the entire office and staff so I won't repeat myself but I will say again that Dra. Alejandra Arrechedera and her staff are the best!! November 2021 I can honestly say that my experience with DRA. Arrechedera in Playa del Carmen has been better than any experience I've had with Dentists in California. She and the other Dentists and staff are kind, accommodating and explain all procedures in detail. You never ever feel rushed! It really does feel like a studio or a spa because it's comfortable, painless and the work is excellent. The Dentists really care about our health and continually contact me to make sure all is well. The fact is that I cannot recommend these wonderful Dentists and staff highly enough! For those in the U.S., I can assure you that Koosi Dental Studio is NOT a "BORDER" Dental office. This is the real thing!!

I had a bad experience here. Alejandra did 3 onlays on my teeth, in two visits, insisiting all 3 teeth had to be done at once. Unfortunately during the placement of the onlays she cemented two of my teeth together and they were not accessible with a floss at all. The third tooth was too high and when I said that, she told me I was numb and I don’t feel that clearly. I went to see my dentist back…

in Europe, who had to remove the cemenet from the interdental space and grind the other tooth, so I spent another 100€ fixing that. One of the onlay is still overlapping by now at the back.. When I asked for a refund from dr. Alejandra for at least one tooth as it was clearly badly done, she said she would have to evaluate it first - well there was obviously nothing to evaluate since it was already fixed by another dentists. I didn’t get a good attitude from her at any visit, enormous medical ego of “knowing better since I’m the doctor”, not to mention that during both visits they were chatting with a nurse about other patients, not focusing on the work in my mouth - it didn’t make me feel comfortable at all. Unfortunately the professionalism here is nowhere near to European standards, but their prices are. So if it’s not an emergency, get your teeth done somewhere else.

Dear Filip, Almost ten years after opening, hundreds of satisfied patients can vouch for us. We are a group of specialized dentists with an excellent reputation, and all our work is absolutely guaranteed. We would like to provide some context regarding what happened, as both sides of the story are always important: The first time you came to Koosi was because you had a toothache. When we explained that you needed a root canal, you mentioned that you didn't agree with root canal treatments and that you preferred we extract the tooth. We then explained that, for ethical reasons, we do not perform extractions, at the patient's request, of teeth that could be saved. Given this situation, you decided to go to another clinic, and they performed the extraction. Some time later, you decided to return for a checkup. During this appointment, Dr. Alejandra explained the procedure to you using photos and X-rays. She also explained that all three onlays would be placed simultaneously, as they were all located in the same quadrant, side by side, and this was the best way to properly restore function and contact points. You agreed. At your first treatment appointment with us, your attitude was clearly distrustful and uncooperative. You even asked the doctor and her assistant not to talk to each other while you were being treated because it caused you anxiety. Given this situation, we carried out the treatment, explaining each step and showing you intraoral photos of everything we did to reassure you. Even so, you constantly questioned the procedure, asking the specialist if she was sure about what she was doing. Because of this, at the end of the appointment, Dr. Alejandra, seeing your criticism and lack of trust, gave you the option of finding another dentist with whom you felt more comfortable to finish your treatment, even offering no charge for preparing the onlays. Despite this, you decided to stay. On the day of the cementation, intraoral photos were also taken and shown to you. You were also informed that if you experienced any discomfort, you could schedule a post-operative appointment for any necessary adjustments. You called a week later because you felt you couldn't floss between two teeth, and despite us giving you more than five different appointment times for a checkup and adjustment, you claimed you couldn't make it at any time. A couple of days later, we gave you more options, and you mentioned you were going on a trip. Weeks later, you wrote requesting a refund because, according to your dentist in Prague, the work was poorly done. Given this claim and because you weren't in the country, we asked for a signed report from your dentist explaining the reasons for this assertion, which you refused. We offered to see you again upon your return for a clinical examination, and you refused that as well. We reiterate: if you are not satisfied with the treatment, as we have mentioned to you on numerous occasions, Koosi's doors are open for you to come in for an evaluation, where we will show you that the work was done correctly, and even if it weren't (which it isn't), we would gladly repeat it, as that is how we handle guarantees. First, we need to confirm that the treatment is indeed faulty, as you claim, and then we'll repeat whatever is necessary until everyone is satisfied. We remain at your service. Have a wonderful day.

I want to thank Koosi dental team for providing an excellent service for my wife. The dental clinic is very clean, comfortable and has pleasing interiors. The doctors explained very well the steps of the procedures and they were very friendly. I strongly recommend this dental clinic.

in a weeks time. Dr. was always communicating with me throughout the procedures to make sure I was not in pain or feeling discomfort. I am COMPLETELY thrilled with the outcome of my treatment. The price initially quoted was the price I paid (even after Dr. discovered many cavities beneath old crowns that were not initially anticipated). But when I was told by my dentist in the US I needed 3 teeth pulled and 3 crowns ( or have missing teeth after pulling them) and the cost would be upwards of $10,000 I was in total shock. I have always prided myself with having beautiful white teeth. So this was just terrible because there was no way I could afford that price. I come to MX for 4 months a year and decided to check it out. I was recommended by a fellow US citizen to Koosi Dental. I am so thankful. I have recommend several friends and family to Dr. Alejandra. The results for my friends and family have just been fabulous. She has a small dental practice just outside Playacar (Playa del Carman) Don’t be fooled by big fancy offices with billboards all over town. Do yourself a favor and go see Koosi dental. You will not be disappointed. I paid 1/3 for everything I needed done. They are just amazing❤️

I was referred to Koosi Dental by a friend and from my first contact to completion, it was smooth and painless. I was seen by Dr. Alejandra, who is the ultimate professional she took of cavaities under leaky metal fillings and replaced them with pretty porcelain overlays... Veronica is one of the best dentists I've ever seen" which is quite something coming from him. My mother in law had a cleaning and she was really happy as well. I got to see Dr Alejandra and I'm so glad I did. She was really honest and she said that I didn't need a crown or a root canal yet. I was told in the US that It was urgent to get those things done right away. Dr. Alejandra said that because of my signs and symptoms it's not needed yet. I was also told I had a big cavity and on the x-ray Dr. Alejandra did not find one. As a provider myself I find that her evaluation, honesty and professionalism create a lot of confidence and the feeling that we were well taken care of.

Impeccable service, very professional and clean clinic and would recommend to others. It was a very easy booking process via email. My appointment was moved by half an hour, and they emailed me the day before to inform me which I really appreciated. There are places to park your car if you need outside.

You can make it directly with her on WhatsApp. I have horror stories about many of the dentists here: late and gouging for US funds in cash or a stinky loud and hot office; complicated and difficult access. Not Alexandra! Unlike most — she honors your appointment time; trained in Chicago; has tiny hands; has easy access and parking; reasonable prices; honors credit cards but most of all, SHE IS A PERFECTIONIST and I appreciate her very much.
