We sincerely regret that your experience with us was not satisfactory and appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve. We understand your frustration with the emergency appointment fee and payment process. We want to clarify that emergency appointments have an additional cost because they are scheduled immediately to address urgent situations, and prepayment is standard procedure at our clinic. Regarding your treatment, Dr. Jazmín examined you carefully and determined that your dental problem required a root canal (endodontic treatment), not a simple filling as you expected. We informed you that if only a filling had been placed instead of the necessary root canal, the pain would have continued and the dental situation could have worsened. A root canal is a more complex procedure that requires the intervention of a specialist to ensure the complete resolution of the problem. When the need for a root canal was explained to you, you were unwilling to schedule an appointment with our endodontist. Our primary focus is your dental health, and therefore, we cannot perform procedures that we know will not resolve the underlying problem or that could cause you further discomfort in the long run. We acknowledge that our communication could have been clearer regarding timelines and expectations. We are reviewing our protocols to ensure that all patients receive complete and accurate information from their first contact. We hope this clarification is helpful and apologize for any misunderstanding or inconvenience this may have caused.
