Straumann has a long history, a large body of published research and wide distribution, which is why many dentists use it as a reference brand. That does not make it the right choice for every case; the dentist's skill and the plan matter more than the logo.

2025 Australian clinic price guides put All-on-4 at A$18,000 to A$35,000 per arch, and New Zealand guides at NZ$20,000 to NZ$35,000. Picasso's figure excludes the final bridge, which it quotes separately and does not publish, so the gap is not the saving on the finished treatment. For a single implant, and for the US and UK, compare with a written quote from your own dentist.

Why Straumann Costs More Than Neodent in Hanoi

Neodent is the Straumann Group's lower-priced brand. At Picasso a complete Neodent implant is 30,000,000 VND (about US$1,160), 10,000,000 VND less than Straumann. If budget is the main concern, ask the dentist whether Neodent suits your case.

The Two Hanoi Clinics That List Straumann (2026)

SmileJet lists two dental clinics in Hanoi, both branches of Picasso Dental Clinic. Both are featured partners on SmileJet: a commercial listing relationship, not a clinical endorsement. Same price list at both.

Training: What to Ask Your Clinic

Straumann runs education programmes for dentists, but SmileJet has no record of any Picasso dentist's courses, and Picasso no longer publishes dentists' names. Ask who will place your implant and how often they use this system for cases like yours.

Warranty: What to Ask

Picasso says implant warranties are the manufacturer's. Manufacturer terms vary by product and country, so ask for the terms in writing.

What to ask about cover

• Which parts are covered: the implant, the abutment, the crown?
• Does it cover the cost of replacement surgery, or only the part?
• Does it apply if a dentist at home does the repair?

What warranties commonly exclude

Many warranties set conditions such as regular check-ups and good oral hygiene, and may not apply if those are not met. Ask how the clinic handles a problem after you have gone home. Picasso's crown warranties are on its price list, for example 5 years on zirconia and 10 years on Lava. SmileJet offers no warranty of its own.

Picasso says it hands over implant serial numbers. Ask for a written record with the product line, diameter, length and serial or lot numbers.

Established implant brands have long track records in published studies, but your own result depends on bone, gum health, smoking, diabetes control, the surgeon and how well you clean. Ask the dentist about your specific risks rather than relying on any brand's headline figure.
