home city of San Diego, so I went for it and am so happy I did! Here’s why: - Follow up communication was timely and thorough. - All dentists and employees there are friendly, cheerful and speak excellent English, so communication is excellent. - They have and use the latest scanning and X-ray technology. - The dentists and staff are relatively young compared to my experience in the U.S., but you immediately sense they have the experience and demeanor needed to perform the procedures, are honest, and also work wonderfully together as a team. - I had two teeth pulled and 23 zirconia crowns put in, in the span of only 5 days total, so I saved time too! Stayed in a local casino hotel that was more than paid for by what I saved! - They are conveniently located in New City Medical tower, which is only a 10 minute walk from the border, but they will bring you there by taxi for free if you like. - I live in downtown San Diego, so it only took me 1:20 to get there by trolly, door to door! - I could go on and on about the friendly team, my positive experience there and full mouth restoration, but will save you time by saying just do it! and caring. This is by far the best patient service I ever had at a dentist. Once I set up my appointment, I got an email explaining the whole procedure step-by-step so there was no surprises at all when I got there. I arrived today, Saturday, April 19, they pick me up after I crossed the border. I was seen first by Dr. Leonardo, after reviewing all the different type of x-rays, 3D CT scan, panoramic, immediately he explain the 2 plan of treatment. He took his time and answered to all my questions patiently. His assistant Yoseline and Rogelio were very friendly, happy and caring. Joan, in the front very informed of all the treatments in the office, Sayra, super sweet, especially knowing that I was very nervous. Dr. Alonso the surgeon doing the bone graft and his assistant Diego were explained step by step what they were doing, I didn’t feel any pain at all. These 2 doctors i am sure they were the top of their class. Professional, caring and brilliant in their field. I don’t wanna forget Mariela in the front which she help me with the forms that I will submit to my dental insurance. Helen and Sayra also discharge me and explained the aftercare, and set up my appointment in 4 month. I want to thank Dr. Leonardo, Dr. Alonso and Staff for the extraordinary work and the confidence, trust I have in you All. Thank you 🙏

border from the office took 21 minutes. Walking across the border( into Mexico) took 15 min Overall I couldn’t be happier.

implants. After that failed i was told to come back for custom implants. Paid for my flight and airbnb which was non refundable to be told it wasnt ready. Fast forward to today. Im here now in Tijuana cause my implant was supposed to be ready by Feb 16th which we confirmed when we called. Im here now and im told the implant isnt ready and to give it another month. I dont have the money to keep booking airbnbs and flights . Also the price seems to change everytime i speak with them.

l assistants were not the best. The dental assistants didn’t speak to me at all while taking me from place to place, and only spoke to give me instructions. I was confused the entire time I was with them. This is interesting bc I am bilingual in Spanish and English, so they were choosing not to communicate with me. As for the receptionist team, Renee was the absolute worst. I considered walking out based on how he spoke to me and lied to me, but I was already in TJ and took the time off work so I stayed. I first called in on Sunday, asked if they had availability, he told me yes and to come at 4pm. I drive to TJ, arrive at 4pm, and they let me know I am not on the schedule, and Renee was not in office. They said they would try to see if I could get treated that day, and took X-rays in the meantime. I ended up meeting with a doctor over 90 minutes later for a few brief moments just for her to tell me that she cannot do my extraction, and referred me to a doctor on Monday, the next day. I do not blame her, but Renee for lying to me in the first place. I return on Monday to be seen at 12, but was not given a QR code to enter the building when they booked my second appointment. I called, Renee answered, he said he would send it to me. Time passed, I had not received it, so I called again to ask for the QR code. During my time waiting, the downstairs entrance is packed, security is being pushy, it is loud and there is general confusion going on. During my second call, I ask again for the QR, which should have been sent to me the day prior, and Renee says “Does it kill you to wait a few minutes?” I was stunned, I am anxious preparing for my procedure, and the front desk is treating me badly - I question how good the service is and if the doctor is trustworthy if a person like Renee is talking to patients like that. I have never been talked to by a medical staff member in that way, and am disgusted by him. This is not a reflection of the doctors and their care, but do not expect to be treated kindly by this staff. Also, this profile is under a fake name as I do not want to be retaliated against. In summary, Renee lied when he booked my initial appt, then his team failed to send out the QR code to enter the building upon booking my second appt, then he was rude to me when I needed help and was confused and scared.

XDentistry has top notch equipment, processes, and professionals. Having a “medical transport” service available (for a fee) to get across the border and to San Diego airport was a huge help. All the other driver transfers to/from hotel and office were included and timely. Thank you to: Dra. Caroline, Dra Barbara, Rene/ Customer Service, Jon, Joan, Norberto/Business office Lynette/Office Manager Paco/Driver and ALL the rest of the many staff that assisted. straighten my teeth to prevent breaking and to correct the overall problem. I agreed with her and in that same day, was able to see Dr. Armando Murillo to get some trays made for my teeth. This was 5 weeks ago. Today was my second visit with Dr. Armando Murillo as I needed to wait 5 weeks for installation. He did such a great job, I cannot wait to see the final results on straightening out my teeth in 9 months! Also- the front desk help, Juan Carlos was helpful, remembered me, treated me with kindness and grace and speaks perfectly clear and great English, he’s bilingual. I say this about most of the staff at X, but specially Juan Carlos. Side note- the building is new and the offices are all SO CLEAN. I would go as far to say this is a luxury dentist visit! Thank you, team!
