I had a very positive experience at this hospital when my wife was treated for food poisoning. From the moment we arrived, the staff acted quickly and professionally, making sure she received immediate care without any delay. They conducted all the necessary tests, including blood tests and an ultrasound, and provided the right medications along with IV drip treatment. Everything was handled efficiently and with great attention to detail. The hospital is very clean, well-organized, and the medical team is highly professional. Communication in English was smooth, which made the whole process much easier during a stressful time. What really stood out was the affordability—the entire treatment, including tests, medication, and IV drip, cost only around $180, which is excellent value for such high-quality care. I accidentally booked my appointment at the wrong clinic (up north). I realised too late and I had no vietnamese SIM card to call them with. They took me in without an appointment anyway but I had to pay an emergency surcharge. I did not have to wait long (max 5-10 min). They took my basic vitals first (height, weight and blood pressure). Afterwards I spoke with the doctor (general practitioner). We used google translate to communicate. He suggested an X-Ray and blood test. The results were ready within 2h. He wrote me a prescription and I picked the medication up at the in-house pharmacy on the groundfloor. I also got an english translation for all the documents for my insurance to reclaim the money and to send to my doctor at home. I paid ca. 1‘936‘000 VND for the appointment (inc. X-Ray & blood test) and an additional ca. 355’000 VND for six different medications. The receptionist and doctor were both very upfront about the payment detail. I paid everything with credit card, no credit card surcharge.

We felt very well cared for here. Everything was very clean and had a modern feel. The doctor and nurses were very kind. We communicated with the doctor via Google Translate; he took plenty of time to ask questions and understand what was wrong with my husband. Everything was checked, and after about 2.5 hours, we were able to return to the hotel with all the medication my husband needed.

The price for an appointment is 600,000 or so, but the price for an appointment without an appointment is 1,000,000 or so. This is the first time I have seen such a big difference in the price of a hospital examination. When the results are available, they do not inform me. Their working style is very poor compared to the price I have to pay. When I went down to buy medicine, they asked me to wait a bit while I was the first person to wait, but they gave the medicine to the next person. When I asked, they told me to wait 5 minutes. But I saw them sitting and not doing anything. I observed them, then they started to stand up to get the medicine.

Instead of charging me 140,000 dong for the test, this hospital jacked up the cost of additional, unnecessary services to 1,750,000 dong, even though the letter had clearly stated my reason for coming. The worst hospital. Things got really bad. And this hospital, instead of charging me 140,000 VND for the test, added additional services I didn't need to the amount of 1,750,000 VND, although the letter originally stated why I came.

Great and quick service!! I wish we had private or state hospitals in Hungary like this where my daughter received help for her mosquito bite.

It was fast, very comfortable, everyone was friendly and compassionate during my experience at Vinmec. I’m extremely happy with the service and recommend for anyone. My endoscopy was painless and comfortable, I feel very good after this experience.
