experience was a pleasing one. From meeting with Manny (taxi driver), talking to Craig, and Dr Baker. I also liked that this was a family practice. I didn’t feel like I was just another number. I would highly recommend this clinic for any one looking for a highly skilled and knowledgeable clinic.

I saw Dr Baker for veneers on recommendation of a family member, and have been extremely happy with the results. After years of gaps, discoloration and less than ideal tooth shape, I now have 6 new gleaming white teeth and a perfect smile. Experience was very convenient, safe and professional. Highly recommend.
The best dentist in Tijuana and highly recommend for any US travels to choose them first!!

Recently I had the great pleasure of having some dental work done by the awesome Dr. Baker .. I was not only extremely impressed by her professionalism but by her impressive work. As she works on you and you see her results ,you will be see that she id truly a world class dentist ! I even found out later, that she is a guest speaker at Ivy Leagude schools. I can see why!!

Thank you Dr. Baker for saving my teeth! I came to Dr Baker with a lot of pain after having a bad crowns job done on my front teeth by another dentist in another clinic. Dr Baker was able to fix my teeth and properly set the new crowns. She uses American laboratories to make the crowns and the crowns are such better quality!! They feel so much nicer. and reviews and decided to leave a message. The next day Craig, her awesome assistant, called explained everything. Told me how many days we’d (My boyfriend and I) need to be there, called the hotel and booked our room, what to expect when we arrived and picked us up from the airport. We arrived at the office and it was straight to business. Dr. Baker did her assessment, x-rays and molds, the initial appointment is short and to the point. She prints you a paper with the work and the price so you know exactly what you are paying for. I was supposed to have more work than I paid for so I’m waiting to see if I get my money refunded. She accepts cash app and Venmo so be sure to have your limits raised because she offers a discount. The second day work begins, I had a root canal, an extraction, and 23 crowns put in, my boyfriend had a root canal, a crown and a deep deep cleaning. Our smiles are beautiful, it had been so long since I smiled naturally I’ve forgotten how but I haven’t stopped practicing! If you get a lot of crowns make sure your mouth isn’t asleep when she aligns your bite, my mouth was and I couldn’t tell and now the dentist here want $500 to fix it. This whole experience made me nervous but Dr. Baker and her team did EVERYTHING in their power to make me calm from the moment we were picked up till we were dropped off. The hotel was right next to the office and the workers are fabulous but there wasn’t a ton to do for 8 days. Pool would have been awesome, I wasn’t in the office as much as I thought I’d be and the tv is in Spanish. I highly recommend Dr. Baker and her team, as a matter of fact I recommended her before I got back to the states. There’s nothing like having a beautiful confident smile!!! Also Dr. Baker dresses so delightfully it was fun seeing some of shoe collection.

Dr Baker did an amazing job taking out my wisdom tooth today! We drove from California to her office because we had heard she was really good and the cost of dental care in California is ver expensive. Dr. Baker is so professional and kind. I felt completely taken care of and in great hands the entire time I was getting two crowns from her. Her office makes it so easy to get to the office across the border too. Less than half the price in the States but no drop in value at all.

my rather inflexible work schedule, was unimaginably gentle and efficient. I had all 28 teeth crowned and couldn’t be happier with the results. She got the whole thing done in just 2 visits and I didn’t even need sedation. Her service is unquestionably the best and so are her prices. She was $3000 less than any other clinic in Tijuana and would never consider going anywhere else….and I live 400 miles away.

her staff easily communicate in "plain" English. The qualify of John's dental work was excellent. On one of our visits there was a couple that came from Kona, Hawaii for dental treatment. She told me their US doctor estimated their dental work at $27,000, and they were paying $8,000! Years ago I had learned that "Snow Birds" came to Mexico for their dental and medical/prescriptions years ago. My skepticism about seeking dental work in Mexico melted away Truly a great experience and value, we have recommended Dr. Baker to everyone we know. Our neighbors are planning to get their dental work done by Dr. Baker. Lastly, Dr. Baker's offer of a taxi (at Dr. Baker's expense) to her office made the trip easy and convenient.

Dangerous lack of informed consent and clinical judgment. If you value your teeth, do not come here. This was a haunting experience with three major violations: 1. She changed the hardware without consent. She changed the implant type without informing me until the morning of the procedure. She placed an anterior (front tooth) implant in a molar site. ng capacities; a front-tooth implant acts differently and cannot safely sustain the chewing force of a molar. 2. She damaged my healthy teeth. To force the implant into a space that was too small, she shaved down my neighboring healthy tooth without asking me or telling me beforehand. While she denied doing this, it was confirmed by another dentist that the enamel was shaved. 3. Negligence regarding shifting: When I raised concerns about the gap narrowing, she assured me via email that “the space is held by the implant itself, and a spacer will not have a significant effect on the space.” This was demonstrably false. The implant screw did nothing to prevent drift; as a result, my teeth shifted and the gap decreased significantly, devastating results. She operates without transparency and cuts corners. Please go elsewhere.
I’ve been to numerous dentists, and Dr. Shirley Baker is hands down the best! From her professionalism to her amazing staff, the entire experience was exceptional. I’m so grateful for the care I received and for helping bring my smile back. Thank you, Dr. Baker, for your outstanding service! I would give a thousand stars and highly recommend her to anyone.
