Dr. Baker and her staff were fabulous and professional! I have always been extremely nervous to have any dental work done but they made me feel at ease from start to finish. I would highly recommend her and the price was right.
Pull, pull, pull and a long wait to have the wound and bone grafting to heal. Long months ahead before the implant; but waiting is good. It means I'm not going to die. Hopefully not from this treatment, which is good. Cons: They need something entertaining on the ceilings to look while you are on your back. Plane tickets are not cheap neither night life in Tijuana.
I was recommended by two friends who have been seeing Dr. Baker over the years (and also don't have dental insurance). She did an amazing job replacing old crowns on my front teeth (implant and regular) that were previously done in the U.S. and looked awful. I love smiling now. shoddy work that you find at those dentist "mills" in Tijuana. The crowns are premium quality made in the U.S. The office is in upscale part of TJ, walk across border and "Many" (Manuel) will pick you up for short drive to office. I tell any friends looking for cosmetic work to go here. Cheers

They deleted my past review. I came in for a wisdom tooth extraction, left with permanent nerve damage and lost feeling in my mouth. They didn’t bother to respond to my many emails, only when I left them a negative review. Don’t go here, very unprofessional. Edit. There was many 1 star reviews it seems they deleted all of them, also their yelp seems to be deleted because of all the bad reviews
Wonderful staff, very modern clinic, and Dr. Baker is great. I have been there 13 times. They have done 3 implants, numerous cavities, root canals, and crowns. We have recommended them to many friends.

Dr. Shirley is amazing. I had small and cooked teeth and very yellow. I have wanted Veniers for a very long time, however my budget was tight. With some research I found Dr. Shirley. She has changed my life. My teeth are perfect and affordable, half the price as in the states. I get compliments often. I look so much younger. I highly recommend Dr. Shirley Baker.

Response from the owner Edited 4 years agoOlga, You have misunderstood that the veneers were temporarily placed, as we were waiting for the permanent veneers to arrive. During the last visit to our office you expressed that you were very happy with the work, thanked us, and went on your way. These reviews are the first communications we have received from you since. The course of events are not as you describe, but I can understand that you may have misunderstood the procedure. You actually had the work completely redone twice. 99.9% of our patients love the veneers they receive, but some will find an issue and will be unhappy, no matter how perfect the smile. Unfortunately we cannot help these patients by simply changing their smile, they will need to find happiness within, and be happy with themselves. I wish the best for you, and I hope that you find that for yourself.
WOW! Dr. Baker a top of the dental profession ---- professional. Anyone needing dental work can be completely confident knowing you will get the best quality dental care from Dr. Baker. I had major dental work (including implants, crowns, bridge and cosmetic) that was all painless.
Dr. Baker has a pretty office but OK orthodontic practice. The pricing is their only perk, but I would NOT recommend them for ortho or treatment requiring more than 2 visits. Dr. Baker is eager to treat and push treatments in a non-cost effective way. d it or didn't have time every 4 weeks to visit for a 5-10 min adjustment. This delayed the process 6 months max. About a year into the treatment I noticed my orthodontist wasn't keeping track of our adjustment history and how my teeth shifted...meaning we'd go over the same thing repeatedly! It would have been more efficient to know my shifting pattern to proactively know how each adjustment would likely affect my teeth. When it was time to pick up the retainer a week after the braces came off, staff called and asked if I wanted to come in another day...excuse me? Why would I? My teeth were shifting out of place. I told them no I did not want to reschedule, and then they admitted they didn't even have the retainer. So for $20 they mailed it me.

Dr. Shirley Baker was amazing! I was quoted over 20k in the states for 2 implants, with insurance. It was much much less here and she honestly was so kind and gentle. I've so many procedures done before and she's been thr gentlest dentist ever.

would need to expect for this process to be successful. Which was expected, given the prior estimates I obtained. The costs were a 3rd of what we pay in the US. The technology is the same as any typical dental offices as well. What sold my wife and I was the care and confidence Dr. Baker displayed during our consultation. I followed all instructions on care and Dr. Baker delivered on every promise to me. Her care and professionalism assured us this was the best decision for my needs. I'm happy to say that I am now pain free with a smile I can be proud of. My life is much healthier and I owe this all to Dr. Baker! For any reviewers that are new to dental tourism, it's incredibly easy. If you have Global entry or Sentri, even easier! They're located minutes from the border. Craig is awesome with logistical support, and was always accommodating with schedules, transportation in Tijuana and appointment dates. If you need minor or major procedures, this is a dentist you can trust. Honest, professional, caring and dependable. Thank you Dr. Baker!!

Everybody speaks great English there. Between the doctor and the facility you would never know you're in Mexico. I had a root canal done and it was very reasonably priced. A lot cheaper than an America.
