Broke a premolar right down the middle - Front half off. Sam Dental is well on the way to saving the tooth and saving me $5000 over California prices. They did a root canal and a fiberglass spike to hold the "buildup" with crown will be around $1k. No part was unpleasant. They might have told me to take more ibuprofen than they did. For me, maxing the ibuprofen was essential to get the tooth…

I went to Sam Dental on Saturday, so they can finish my crown that I needed for a root canal that was also done here. I was in a lot of pain & now that the root canal has been completed I am much better & so happy with the ending results of the zirconia crown. Plus also they changed out an old silver filling for more of a natural finish. Definitely recommend them for any dental needs one might…

Very happy with my visits. Needed teeth cleaning done. I am one of those who hates visiting the dentist like everyone else. Could not find a dentist in San Diego that I liked and would not charge me an arm and a leg with insurance to use their services. Decided to look in Tijuana for a dentist since I live in San Diego. A little intimidating as I do not speak any Spanish, to attempt to figure out the taxis in Tijuana. Decided to try out Sam Dental as they had great reviews and offer a free shuttle service from the border. Had a couple of cavities to take care of while I was there and replaced 2 old crowns that were showing signs of decay along the gumline. I cringe like everyone else getting cavities taken care of at the dentist. I have a small mouth so that is another issue at the dentist when they tell me to open wide. I am never numbed at the right spot that I can always feel pain while the dentist works, which contributed to my fear of the dentist. Or numbed to the extreme where my face is still numb 3 to 4 hours later that I cannot eat properly. This is the first time that I did not feel any pain or sensitivity while the dentist worked on my cavities and teeth. The numbness was already going away while I was standing in line to get back into the us. So happy with my pain free visits that I already booked my teeth cleaning 6 months out when I left. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family who are looking for dentists
