Anyway, it’s basically just spending on advertising. You can’t really call it professional. After switching to another place, I didn’t dare step into that place again—it’s just too expensive.

Overall, a very positive experience! The front desk and nurses are friendly, and my kids enjoy visiting too. I recently had a scaling done with Dr. Louisa—she was gentle, completely pain-free, and gave expert advice. I had a professional dental cleaning at Quay Dental Penang, and the experience was excellent! The procedure cost 300 MYR, plus an additional 6% for being a foreigner. The doctor was incredibly skilled and gentle- I felt no pain at all. The clinic is clean, well-organized, and the staff were friendly. I highly recommend Quay Dental for anyone looking for top-quality dental care in Penang!

Dr Yenni is kind, patient and wonderful with my kids. The staff are very soft-spoken and gentle. Parents can feel at ease sending their kids here.

I took my 9-year-old son to this clinic last week for a routine check-up and maintenance. The clinic is very clean, calm, and comfortable. The staff are very sincere and kind. My son especially loves Dr Lim because she is so kind and helpful, and she makes him feel at ease. Dr Lim seems to be very good at paediatric dentistry.

Super Pricy. Went for my routine checkup since Feb 2024 and was shocked by the pricing. They charged me RM30 for consultation, RM240 for clealing and polishing(Adult) and RM140 for an X-Ray, for a total of RM410. I'm not too sure on the market practices in the dental industry but most are not very transparent with their pricing so im not surprised here. Market Rates: After asking around, I've realised a few things. The market rates for dental cleaning and polishing is RM130-RM170 for an adult. And around RM100 for an xray. Consultation Rm30 is resonable. Key takeaways: I was not informed by my doctor on how much my procedure is going to cost before starting the procedure. They are not very open and transparent with how they are charging you (I'm not too sure if this is the industry practice). They do service with a smile and have a clean and nice place, but that does not justify having such a high price. Extra notes: I've done some research on the price of the X-Ray there are 3 types. So I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt here. Conclusion: Price: 2/10 (60% above market) Service: 8/10(Service with a smile but does not jutsify high price) Cleanliness: 7.5/10 (Clean and neat but does not jutsify high price)

We would also like to clarify the treatment that was carried out: The cleaning and polishing procedure used the Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) method, not conventional scaling. GBT is an advanced, minimally-invasive, and comprehensive technique that uses specialized devices and warm water. This difference in technology and methodology is why the charge is different from traditional scaling. However, this distinction does not excuse our failure to inform you. We value your trust and hope to have the opportunity to make this right during your next visit. We value your patronage and truly regret that the lack of communication on our part overshadowed the quality of the care provided.
Pricey. Charged 110 for xray when other clinics charge 60. 200+ for a filling. Very profit driven as I could sense the dentist has a target to achieve so patients need to be able to differentiate whether something they tried to recommend is really necessary. Was looking for a place to get my tooth filling done due to sensitive teeth. Noticed the great reviews online and dropped by for a quick fix. She is super thoughtful and ensured the procedure was painless and comfortable throughout. Had a great experience here. 10/10 would recommend!

Had a pleasant experience whereby the dentist gave me a free check up on a last minute appointment. She even gave me a free syringe! The environment is also one of the best I had went this far. Highly recommended!

I was treated at this dental clinic for serious dental problems. Two teeth were extracted, two filled, cavities were treated, and teeth were cleaned in three sessions. I've never had such a wonderful and painless treatment in Austria. Dr. Liew Eu Lyn did a fantastic job and restored my teeth. I'm extremely pleased. I highly recommend this clinic.

enquired about the teeth whitening process and pricing at the end of my cleaning appointment. Dr Liew was very patience and walked me through the entire process from end to end and provided me with pros and cons to set my expectations and goal. I started my teeth whitening journey on July 18th and I decided to go with two sessions. The first picture below was taken before the first session on July 18th and the second picture was the final result after the second session on November 27th. Needless to say the transformation was remarkable within 4 months! My sincere thanks to the Quay Dental crew for taking such a good care of my teeth in the last 6 months. the five star is real. i went tooth filling for my front teeth, 4 parts. include fitting one of my denture, Dr Yennie doing very very good fixing that, even its over-time for one hour but not rushing, she still did a very neat polish, my teeth looks never been so perfect, un-even /yellowish dot is all gone! I think that's a extra bonus! now im can smile confidentially :))))

Dr Louisa sorted my cracked and abscessed tooth which has been torturing me for the past two weeks in one fell swoop (consult, x-ray, operate) with ease and reassurance, while constantly checking if I’m alright during surgery. All these were done in under 30 minutes. Thank you :)

Just did a wisdom tooth extraction and a filling by Dr.Liew and ber team. I've never met a team which is so professional, understanding and compassionate. They made the entire process seamless, explaining every step they are taking to make you feel emotionally and physically comfortable. Highly reccomended in my books.

I had to have emergency dental treatment (root canal in largest back molar, composite filling and crown) while travelling from UK through SE Asia. Dr Liew was recommended to me by an Airbnb host nearby in Straits Quay. the Cameron Highlands, Langkawi and Sepilok in Borneo, as well as Penang. She was calm and gentle and was very clear about the risks involved and set clear expectations for how long the process would take. The important thing was that I had no pain throughout. Although, each individual appointment had to be quite long for leadtime purposes, I always felt confident in her ability to do the best possible job. Her team were also very caring and accommodating and Beverley was great at communicating with me about my appointments. In my view, world class service was provided. The end result was fantastic and my new crown fits like it was always there. I would highly recommend Dr Liew and her lovely team.

My daughter and I had our first dentist's visit in Penang after moving here a few months ago. I had root canal treatment. It was my first experience with dental care overseas, but Dr. Liew spoke some Japanese, and the treatment was very careful, and the facility was clean.
