What these reviews add up to.
8.2 out of 10
Overall score
A solid, well-run Picasso branch in the Tay Ho Tay area serving the expat and diplomatic community, strong on English communication, conservative honest advice and transparent pricing. Treatment skews routine rather than complex full-arch work. Minor weaknesses are difficult parking, occasional rescheduling and a templated feel to many reviews.
Authenticity
9/10Verified branch at LKC22 Embassy Garden, Tay Ho Tay, Bac Tu Liem; part of the established network with external listings, named dentists, and reviews that include honest minor criticisms.
Treatment quality
8/10Good outcomes on cleanings, fillings, crowns, wisdom extractions, root canals and one Invisalign case, with conservative no-upsell advice praised; cases skew routine and one bonding initially felt thick.
Cleanliness
8/10Reviews consistently describe clean, modern treatment rooms with no hygiene complaints, though without the detailed sterilisation audit seen at the Old Quarter flagship.
Team
8/10Named dentists (Dr Lynn, Dr Linh), fluent English, accommodating of irregular schedules, and repeatedly praised for patience with children and anxious patients.
Price value
8/10Transparent pricing 50-70 percent below Western rates, consistently called fair; one reviewer noted a phone-versus-invoice price discrepancy.
Tourist suitability
8/10Open 7 days near West Lake and major hotels, English staff, same-day urgent fit-ins, airport pickup and hotel partnerships; parking is repeatedly flagged as difficult.

Russian, working in oil and gas in Hanoi for almost five years. My wife and I both use Picasso Westlake. Over the years we have had multiple cleanings, a few fillings, my crown that needed replacing, and her invisalign treatment which she completed last year. Consistently good across all of it. The clinic operates at international standards which is what we expected and got.
Pretty good overall. Cleaning and one cavity filled. The dentist was thorough and gentle. The reception staff could be a bit more efficient at check-in, I felt like I was waiting in the lobby a while before they took my paperwork. Treatment was great though. Would still recommend.
German engineer, my company sent me to Hanoi for a 14 month project. Picasso Westlake came up first in expat group recommendations. Had a full comprehensive check on first visit which identified two issues I didn't know about. We worked through them across three appointments. The dentist used a digital scanner instead of putty impressions which I appreciated as someone with a strong gag reflex.…

Excellent work, fair prices, professional throughout.
British Pakistani, working in Hanoi for two years now. My wife and I both use Picasso Westlake for all dental needs. She had a more complex case involving two implants and a bridge to replace some missing teeth. The treatment took five months total and the result is excellent. I have had cleanings and one filling done myself. We trust this clinic completely with our family's care.
Danish, in Hanoi for a year. Got my wisdom tooth out, was nervous because I had heard bad stories. The actual procedure was over before I knew it, dentist was skilled and efficient. Recovery was easier than expected. They sent me home with proper aftercare instructions in English and called the next day to check on me. Genuinely impressed.
Quebecois, my wife and I have been in Hanoi for three years on a business venture. Both of us have used Picasso Westlake for routine work. She had a complicated bridge replacement done that took multiple appointments and the work is beautiful. I have had cleanings and two fillings. Communication is always in clear English (and the dentist tried some Quebecois French phrases just to be friendly,…

which we appreciated). Excellent clinic across the board.
I'm autistic and find dental visits really overwhelming due to the sounds and bright lights. The team here let me come in early to see the room before my appointment, gave me a sample of the noise the cleaning tools make, and let me wear my noise-cancelling headphones during the actual cleaning. Tiny accommodations that made a huge difference. Cannot thank them enough for taking my needs…

seriously.
Iranian, came to Hanoi for a friend's wedding and had a dental emergency two days before the event. Lost a crown on my front tooth which would have been awful for wedding photos. Picasso Westlake fitted me in same morning, did a temporary replacement that looked nearly indistinguishable from the original. Got me through the wedding looking fine. Replaced the crown permanently before I flew home.…

Lifesavers.
Ukrainian, in Vietnam since 2022. Picasso Westlake has been my dental home for nearly two years. The team is warm and competent. I have had cleanings and two fillings done. Their patience with me when I was newly arrived and very stressed about everything in my life was genuinely meaningful. They treated me like a person, not just a patient. Thank you to everyone there.
Cleaning was great, dentist was professional. Got a filling done a month later, also fine. Only complaint is they could improve the online booking, I had to call to confirm twice because the system seemed unsure about the time. Otherwise good clinic, quality work, fair prices.
Swedish architect, in Hanoi designing a hotel project for the past year. Had a comprehensive check-up plus two cleanings six months apart, and a small crown on a back molar. The crown was done in two appointments using their in-house CAD CAM system which I found fascinating from a design perspective. Asked the dentist a lot of nerdy questions about the digital workflow and she was happy to explain…

everything. The crown fits perfectly. Excellent clinic.
Came here after a friend got her teeth done and they looked amazing. Got whitening and a small bonding fix on my front tooth. Took two appointments. My teeth are noticeably whiter and the bonding is seamless. Highly recommend if you want subtle confidence boost without committing to veneers.
Italian, working at a winery in Da Lat but visiting Hanoi monthly. Coordinated my dental visits with my Hanoi trips. Cleaning, two fillings, and a new bridge all done across five months. The bridge fits beautifully and matches my other teeth in color and shape. My Italian dentist back in Verona examined the work this summer and asked who did it because the quality was so good. Tutto perfetto.
Solid place. Got a cleaning and one filling. Dentist was kind. Only thing is the appointment confirmation email came in Vietnamese first then English much later which confused me. Otherwise great experience and quality work.
Nigerian, working in tech in Hanoi for two years. Came in for an emergency after a piece of crown popped off while flossing (yes, flossing, not even chewing). They saw me same day, replaced the crown cement, took five minutes. Did not charge me for the visit because it was so quick. I came back two weeks later for a proper cleaning and check. Outstanding clinic.
Spanish, my partner is Vietnamese. We have lived in Hanoi for four years and have been coming to Picasso Westlake since the day we found out about it. Routine cleanings, one cavity for each of us, and my partner had a wisdom tooth removed. Everything has been handled with professionalism and care. We are now bringing our newborn for her first dental visit when she is old enough.
Welsh, in Hanoi for a year teaching English. Was anxious about dental care abroad but Picasso Westlake immediately put me at ease. Had a cleaning and the dentist flagged an old filling that was starting to leak around the edges. We replaced it the following week. Everything went smoothly and the cost was incredibly reasonable. The Welsh dentist I saw on my home visit a few months later examined…

the work and said it was excellent quality.
Israeli expat, my husband is on a long term posting with his company. I have very sensitive teeth and was nervous about finding a clinic that would understand. Picasso Westlake was patient with me and used a gentle technique throughout my cleaning and filling. They even adjusted their normal protocol slightly to accommodate my sensitivity. The kind of care that makes you actually want to keep your…

Người Việt nhưng làm việc tại Singapore, về thăm gia đình mỗi 6 tháng và thường làm răng tại Picasso. (Vietnamese but working in Singapore, visiting family every 6 months and usually doing dental work at Picasso.) Quality is comparable to Singapore but at much lower cost. Have had multiple cleanings, two fillings, and a crown done over the years. Always satisfied.
American, retired, snowbirding in Vietnam since 2019 (with a long pandemic interruption). Picasso Westlake has been handling my dental work since they opened this branch. Quality has been consistent, prices reasonable, staff friendly. Got a crown done here last year that my US dentist examined this summer and praised the quality. I trust them with whatever comes up.
Brought my mom in when she visited me in Hanoi from Iran. She doesn't speak English much. The dentist used a translation app patiently to communicate everything important. Mom got a cleaning and felt completely safe and respected the whole time. She talked about how kind the dentist was for weeks after she got home.
Polish, working in finance in Hanoi for three years. Picasso Westlake is the only dental clinic I have used here. Cleanings every six months, one filling replaced, and I am currently halfway through invisalign treatment which is progressing well. The clinic operates with the kind of professionalism I expect, which is reassuring as an expat. Pricing is transparent and reasonable for the quality.
Cleaning was great, dentist was lovely. Took off one star because the waiting room TV was playing the news on loud during my whole wait which gave me a headache before I even saw the dentist. Otherwise solid clinic, will go back.
