A solid, well-run Picasso branch in the Tay Ho Tay area serving the expat and diplomatic community, strong on English communication, conservative honest advice and transparent pricing. Treatment skews routine rather than complex full-arch work. Minor weaknesses are difficult parking, occasional rescheduling and a templated feel to many reviews.

Authenticity

9/10

Verified branch at LKC22 Embassy Garden, Tay Ho Tay, Bac Tu Liem; part of the established network with external listings, named dentists, and reviews that include honest minor criticisms.

Treatment quality

8/10

Good outcomes on cleanings, fillings, crowns, wisdom extractions, root canals and one Invisalign case, with conservative no-upsell advice praised; cases skew routine and one bonding initially felt thick.

Cleanliness

8/10

Reviews consistently describe clean, modern treatment rooms with no hygiene complaints, though without the detailed sterilisation audit seen at the Old Quarter flagship.

Team

8/10

Named dentists (Dr Lynn, Dr Linh), fluent English, accommodating of irregular schedules, and repeatedly praised for patience with children and anxious patients.

Price value

8/10

Transparent pricing 50-70 percent below Western rates, consistently called fair; one reviewer noted a phone-versus-invoice price discrepancy.

Tourist suitability

8/10

Open 7 days near West Lake and major hotels, English staff, same-day urgent fit-ins, airport pickup and hotel partnerships; parking is repeatedly flagged as difficult.

Brazilian, here three years. Cleaning, one filling, all good. Dentist is great. Price is right. Will return.

Mexican, my husband is here with the embassy. We have three teenagers and getting them all set up with a reliable dentist was on my priority list when we arrived. Picasso Westlake has been wonderful with the kids. Two of them needed cavities filled and the third needed a deep cleaning after years of inconsistent care due to our many moves. All three appointments went smoothly. The dentist was…

patient and explained things in a way they could understand. We are sorted for the duration of our posting.

Pretty good clinic. Had a cleaning, dentist found a cracked tooth I'd been ignoring, recommended a crown. Work was done well over two appointments. Knocking off a star because the cost ended up a bit higher than the initial estimate due to needing a buildup before the crown could be placed. To be fair the dentist explained why during the procedure. Otherwise solid.

Irish, in Hanoi with my partner who is teaching here. Had a wisdom tooth extracted that had been bothering me for months. The procedure was over quickly and recovery was much easier than I had braced myself for. Aftercare instructions were clear, they called the next day to check, and the follow up appointment a week later confirmed everything was healing well. Fair pricing too. Excellent clinic.

Malaysian Chinese, lived in Hanoi five years. I have used three different dental clinics in this city and Picasso Westlake is by far the best. The difference shows in the small things: the dentist actually looks at your old xrays before the appointment, the hygienist asks about any sensitivity before starting, the receptionist remembers your face. Care that feels personal even at scale. I have had…

everything from cleanings to a complex crown done here. All excellent.

Solid dentist. Cleaning was thorough, found an issue I didn't know about, sorted it next week. Easy in and out. Good prices. Recommend.

Swedish, retired, in Hanoi visiting my daughter who teaches here. She insisted I come along for her check-up and have my own done while I was here, saying the standards were exceptional. She was right. The dentist spent over an hour with me doing a comprehensive assessment, took the time to explain what she saw on my xrays, and identified a small issue with one of my crowns that my dentist in…

Stockholm had not flagged. We replaced the crown the following week. Beautiful work, perfect fit. My Stockholm dentist examined it after I returned and was impressed.

Afghan, working with an NGO in Hanoi. Had not been to a dentist in nearly four years (life has been complicated). Picasso Westlake was patient and non-judgmental about how long it had been. We worked through what I needed step by step. Deep cleaning, three fillings, one crown over three months. The team made me feel like a normal patient, not a problem to be fixed. Their kindness mattered as…

Came in for an emergency loose crown. They fitted me in next day which was great. Quick fix, no issues since. Came back later for a proper cleaning and that was also fine. One thing I'd improve is the waiting area is small and gets crowded during peak hours. Otherwise good clinic, fair prices, decent work.

American Jewish New Yorker, in Hanoi for an extended sabbatical. I have very high standards for healthcare (raised in a household full of doctors) and Picasso Westlake meets them comfortably. Routine cleanings, one filling replaced, and a thorough discussion about whether to replace an old crown that the dentist thought could probably last another two years if monitored. We agreed to monitor…

rather than replace. That kind of conservative recommendation is what builds trust.

First dentist visit in 4 years (I know I know). The team was so kind about it. No lecturing. Just thorough cleaning, two cavities found and filled over two visits, and a friendly reminder about what to do better. Already booked my 6 month follow up which I never used to do. They've changed my whole relationship with dental care.

Emirati, on a 10 day visit to Hanoi for tourism with family. We had been recommended Picasso Westlake by a friend in Dubai who had work done there last year. My wife and I both came in for cleanings and I needed two old fillings replaced. The team coordinated all four appointments across our trip so we could still enjoy our holiday. Quality matches anything available in Dubai. Cost was a small…

Dutch, 65 years old, retired and visiting Hanoi for an extended six week trip with my wife. We both had comprehensive check-ups, cleanings, and I had a crown replaced on a back molar. The team worked efficiently to fit everything into our travel schedule without rushing the actual treatment. Quality is exceptional and the price compared to Netherlands is honestly absurd in our favor. We are…

already planning another trip next year, partly motivated by wanting to maintain treatment with this clinic.

Good clinic. Got cleaning and one filling done. Both fine. The waiting room was busy on my second visit and seating was limited which was a bit awkward. Treatment itself was great quality. Will come back but maybe book earlier in the day next time.

Argentinian dentist visiting Hanoi as part of a regional medical tourism research project. I went to Picasso Westlake as a patient (cleaning and a small composite filling) to evaluate their standards firsthand. I was genuinely impressed. Sterilization protocols, modern equipment, evidence-based clinical approach, transparent pricing. This is a clinic that would meet or exceed standards in any…

Just lovely from start to finish. Cleaning, filling, easy. Will be coming back.
Wilhelmina Drechsler via Google 5.0 out of 5
German, retired and spending half my year in Hanoi. Picasso Westlake handles all my dental care while I am here. Over the past four years I have had multiple cleanings, three fillings replaced, one new crown, and most recently they identified the early signs of gum recession and recommended I adjust my brushing technique. They could have just sold me a service. Instead they gave me advice and…

saved me money. That is the mark of an honest clinic.

Argentinian, in Hanoi running a restaurant for the past 18 months. Came in for two cleanings and one filling over the past year. Excellent service every time. The dentist explained things in clear English and the work was solid. Already recommending this clinic to all my staff.
Anushka Reddy via Google 5.0 out of 5
Indian, in Hanoi for a six month consulting assignment. Found Picasso Westlake through Reddit when I needed an emergency check after biting something hard and cracking a tooth. They saw me next morning, took xrays, explained that the crack was minor and could be managed with a crown rather than extraction. Done over two visits in 10 days. Crown is perfect, no pain. Cost was a tiny fraction of what…

I would pay in Bangalore for the same quality. Highly recommend.

Mike via Google 5.0 out of 5
Came in expecting the worst because I had a deep cavity that I'd been ignoring for too long. Dentist was non-judgmental, explained what needed to happen (a filling, possibly a crown if the damage was deeper than the xray showed). Did the filling, turned out the damage was just deep enough to need a small inlay rather than a full crown. Saved me money by being honest. Tooth has been fine for 8…
