But my visits to Picasso were by far and away the best dental treatment and care I have experienced. I was so impressed by the professionalism and level care shown by all the staff there. Being an international patient and being in an unfamiliar city is not a small thing. In the first minutes of arriving at the clinic the staff made me feel so welcome, they were so calming and understanding. I have to say I did have some apprehension about the amount of dental work ahead. However within a very short time this apprehension disappeared. Monica, the client services manager, who acted as an interface between my fantastic dentist and orthodontist, was so patient and caring, taking a lot of time to explain every step of my treatment. The attention to detail that both my dentist and orthodontist demonstrated was so impressive. Making the decision to go to Hanoi and have the dental treatment done by Picasso was of the best decisions I have taken for a long time. I not only received top class dental care, it was so cost effective in comparison to having all this work undertaken at an Australian dental practice. So I have every confidence in recommending Picasso to anyone thinking about travelling internationally for dental care. with comfy couch, stools and table, flowers, water cooler and air-conditioning. No usual dentist smell at all. Once in the surgical rooms, again I was struck by the hygienic standards. Shoes must be left at the lifts and clean crocs provided. The dentist and assistant wear surgical gowns, masks and gloves, as did I when I went through gum surgery. All utensils used are sterilised and come in sealed plastic that must be ripped open. The equipment is far beyond anything I'd experienced. My whole mouth and teeth were xrayed and examined and photos taken showing what was needed....infection going up to my sinuses, receding gums, stained and missing teeth. All of this was then discussed with what could be done, along with price lists. Once in the dental chair, I was scared as usual, but to my surprise it was the most pain free experience I'd ever had at a dentist. Dr. Rosie was very gentle and the numbness was gone very quickly after leaving the surgery. I really don't know how they do it. I can now smile with confidence AND... eat ice-cream as all my sensitivities have been fixed! I recommend Picasso dental surgery very highly.
