DAY, informing me that they had a problem with the scheduling system and that it didn't show the appointment. My indignation stems from knowing that there was a scheduled appointment and they simply left the office! Not to mention that during the week no one contacted me to confirm. We left work early, made all the arrangements to take her to the appointment, only to arrive and find the office closed, and they didn't even respond to WhatsApp. Imagine if it were a child who needed urgent care. In short, we were treated indifferently, which shows a lack of commitment and professionalism. Luckily, there are other professionals in the city. Terrible service.

Contacting PROCON (Brazilian consumer protection agency), I discovered that this practice goes against consumer rights. I am now proceeding with PROCON to notify the company. Response: They didn't try to reimburse anything! Do you want me to expose the WhatsApp conversation?!? They never got back to me again! What nerve! They never got back to me again… they simply ignored me. Here's a screenshot from the last time they messaged me. I haven't gone to PROCON in person yet, but I called them and you will be notified! Good afternoon, Graziela. As we tried to resolve the situation with you by phone, we would just like to clarify for everyone who sees this message… The first dental consultation costs twice as much as the conditioning consultation… This is perfectly understandable, since we need more time to learn about the child's family history, routine, behavior, and all the details that a good first consultation requires. This is in addition to the time spent with the child, talking, understanding, showing all the equipment and instruments, and, when possible, performing any procedures. Since your son needed conditioning (or perhaps sedation if the conditioning was unsuccessful, as discussed and clarified during the first consultation), the dentist proposed a package of three sessions (remember, the cost of the conditioning session is half the cost of the first consultation), which was agreed upon with you. To help you, the doctor did not charge you for the first dental consultation (which, as a reminder, would have been double the price) and included the first consultation as one of the sessions in the package. Since you chose not to have the third session, our proposal was to refund part of the amount that would actually have been due: payment for the first consultation as it should have been, and the second consultation as one of the conditioning sessions… We would also have to reimburse you for part of the amount… But, in fact, you did not want to discuss this possibility, resulting in the situation described above. We would also like to point out that when we offer packages, we do reduce the prices somewhat, as many companies do (aesthetics and massage, physiotherapy, speech therapy, psychology, among others). If the consultations or sessions are individual, they would be at normal prices. We were willing to reimburse part of the payment, but without success in negotiations, leading to the current situation… We are available to provide any clarifications, whether to someone arriving here now, to you at another time, or even to the consumer protection agency (PROCON) when they contact us and we discuss the matter, which we are committed to resolving!
