I'm very disappointed with this clinic. We came with our whole family for treatment. While we were waiting, one of our children was looking at Christmas trees on TV and immediately grabbed one, but one of the receptionists immediately tampered with it and scolded him severely. at the desk, only one girl showed any interest in the visitors. While we were waiting, a couple of Russians came in, and no one even approached them. We even pointed out that we were waiting too, even though we had an appointment. The doctor, a Russian woman, was completely indifferent to our child. She burst into the room during an X-ray and frightened my daughter and me with her indignation. Instead of calmly explaining what to do, she sternly told us to listen to the doctor and do what he said. He speaks English... we'll send someone here, logically choosing who knows Russian and we'll be able to communicate easily... my child is 7 and doesn't speak English fluently, so I showed and explained everything myself. The doctor was in and out. Importantly, she was putting on her gown mid-check. Apparently, the staff here aren't aware of the doctor's uniform and that children are very good at reading adults' moods. If the doctor is strict and rude, what child would go to her? Naturally, the child didn't cooperate with such a doctor. And when she did go, the doctor allowed herself to say that treatment here costs pennies, she's not interested, and that such children are difficult. She's treated many children, and my child is too difficult to treat. After talking with the clinic, we were made clear that the doctor is only available for adults and won't treat children. They refused to examine our second child altogether. But they were willing to see me. Naturally, my husband and I immediately booked another appointment. The doctor wasn't initially interested in treatment; her whole demeanor demonstrated her reluctance. She recommended treatment in Russia, and even under anesthesia before even examining me! During the examination, the doctor allowed herself to say things like, "Why don't you open your mouth?" "Do they hurt you here?" in such an indignant, unpleasant tone that I'm simply speechless. In the next room, a client was watching TV while the doctor performed the necessary procedures. My child was looking at his jaw X-ray, and they refused to turn on a distracting cartoon for him.

This reminder was made solely to ensure your child’s safety and to prevent any potential risks. However, if the manner of this reminder was not gentle enough and caused discomfort to you or your child, we sincerely apologize and take this feedback seriously in order to improve our communication approach. After receiving your review, our team promptly reviewed and verified the information. According to our records, your family’s first visit took place without a prior appointment. Meanwhile, our clinic schedule is usually fully booked 2–3 days in advance, and even longer during peak periods. For walk-in cases, our reception team always tries their best to arrange the earliest and most convenient time possible. However, a short waiting time may be unavoidable. We sincerely hope for your understanding if this affected your experience. We would also like to clarify that during the initial examination and check-up, no anesthesia is used. In particular, our clinic does not use general anesthesia under any circumstances. Local anesthesia is only applied when medically necessary and is always carefully explained and approved by the patient or guardian before proceeding. During treatment, doctors need to focus fully, which may sometimes make their manner appear serious. The questions asked and professional terminology used are solely for the purpose of making the most accurate diagnosis of your child’s condition. However, if this communication style unintentionally caused pressure or discomfort for you or your child, we sincerely apologize and will carefully review this to improve our approach. During the examination, as your child was crying and unable to cooperate, the doctor had to temporarily stop the treatment, as continuing would not ensure safety or treatment effectiveness. Additionally, due to limited appointment time slots and other scheduled patients, the session could not be extended. This decision was made purely based on professional judgment and your child’s safety, and was not due to any lack of care or concern for your family. Regarding the X-ray area, in accordance with medical safety regulations, unrelated personal items are not allowed inside the room. The X-ray procedure is very quick, and the radiation level is within medically permitted standards. For mandatory safety reasons, cartoons or entertainment devices cannot be used during the X-ray process. We kindly ask for your understanding. Viet Han Dental Clinic always strives to create a friendly, gentle, and comfortable environment for our patients, especially children. Can't thank them enough, the service and experience is better than anything I have received in Australia. I booked three weeks in Nha Trang to have my top teeth crowned, the procedure took two weeks doing a few hours in the chair every few days. Every night I went home with a smile. 5K well spent!

It felt like the doctor simply didn't want to communicate with the patient and delegated all communication to the receptionist, who, of course, is in no position to provide medical advice. In the end, I received neither the service nor a clear explanation of why I needed restoration instead of a mouth guard. A very strange and unpleasant approach—the doctor didn't even bother to talk to me. I was left with the impression that the patient isn't given the attention they deserve.

In your case, the teeth have been significantly worn down and the enamel structure is weak. If only a night guard is used, the grinding force during sleep will continue to affect the already worn teeth, causing further enamel cracking, worsening the bite, and potentially leading to jaw muscle pain. Therefore, the doctor recommended restoring the teeth first to rebuild the proper bite height and ensure long-term protection. Due to the language barrier, our doctor was unfortunately unable to directly explain the details to you during your appointment. PC – our customer care representative – was assigned to help communicate with you about your dental condition and the recommended treatment plan on behalf of the doctor. However, we sincerely apologize if this made you feel that the doctor did not listen or communicate with you sufficiently. I had my teeth cleaned and was very pleased. The dentist was very attentive and caring. I also made an appointment for cavity treatment. The service was pleasant, and the girls translated everything clearly into Russian. I recommend them.

I liked the clinic; I had my teeth cleaned by Trinh. The woman was very attentive, translated every step through a translator, did everything carefully, took her time, and focused on results. At the end of the appointment, she told me which teeth needed attention and which needed treatment.
