personalized approach was obvious. Once I arrived in Costa Rica, the in-person experience was even better. The entire team—Dr. Meza, Dr.Aguliar, Rebecca, Ken, assistants Karol & Melanie, Kari (travel department), and driver Joseph. Everyone treated me with genuine care and warmth throughout my 11 day trip. Every step was explained in clear, patient-friendly language, and they constantly checked in on my comfort. That level of personalization made me feel like I was their only patient. The apartment I booked through the travel department was thoughtfully maintained and very comfortable. Not only did I enjoy my time there, but I was also able to properly rest and recover in comfort, which made a real difference in my trip. The actual procedures were far more comfortable than I imagined. The end result was a natural looking smile makeover that has completely transformed my confidence. Thank you, Dr. Meza and the entire incredible team, for exceeding every expectation and giving me the smile I've always dreamed of! Highly recommend.

When going to another country to get medical care. You want to be understanding of the person‘s education, you want to be understanding of the knowledge and technology, and also to be able to communicate freely not being spoken over not being spoken to like you’re just another number. I felt Dr meza took his time and fully explained his process with each patient and the first question usually is, What are you looking to accomplish by coming here to my practice?. Dr meza then explains his procedures, goes over your x-rays, explains the gums, the bones, the jawline, your smile, your length of your teeth, your gums, the overall health of your entire mouth and how that place apart and comes together. It is then explained what can be done how it can be done, and of course the cost of plan. After my fourth visit, I will say, I’m happy and I’m satisfied thus far and I will continue to slowly get my work done that is necessary for me to feel a little better about myself and feel a little warm and fuzzy inside about going to a practice where every single person you meet has a real smile not a fake one and the body language of every employee tells you that they do care and they are respectful.

You can, of course, plan your own place to stay but I chose to have them arrange everything for me. I have now been twice (from New York). The first visit was a complete assessment (with better scanning equipment than any of the dentists I visited, including specialists, in NY), removal of a bridge, placement of a crown, a tooth extraction, and two implants all done very expertly and efficiently. I returned 4 months later to have crowns placed on the implants…again, the most efficient and expert work I have experienced anywhere. The cost of air fare, lodging, ground transportation, all scans and dental work amounted to less than I would have paid in NY. It is, of course, about the money but to my surprise it turned out to be about the quality of the work and the excellent teamwork. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

again in about two weeks to have two implants completed. I am 80 years old. Dr. Meza is the best dentist I have ever had. Each time we visited over the past 10 years, the office had a new, higher level of technology. But more importantly, even with his impressive success, Dr. Meza has retained his empathy, gentle hands, enthusiastic clinic staff, and his drive to keep getting better. One more thing… Seeing him wearing his “signature” gold Nikes always makes me smile.

amazing. The culutre and people are just a big WOW. Kari and Hugo from the travel department are wonderful people. I will be going on an excursion next time around. Ken the Coordinator is exceptional and again, patient because as always I had alot questions. Accomidations were perfect for me. The apartment was clean and that was my biggest concern for me. Lets start with the staff and how professional, attentive, courteous, respectful and compassionate they are. Dr. Meza is very knowledgeable, he explains everything and is a honest person. I cant say enough about his professionalism and side chair manners. Dr. Marin is also wonderful Dentist. She is patient and listened to my concerns and she immediately did what she needed to do fix the issue which was minor. As far as the Lab well I didn't really get to meet them. But they definitely are very good at what they do. Last but not least the driver Jospet he gets everyone to their appointments and he communicates if there is any changes to pick up the paitents. So with all this I am feel like they are my family in Costa Rica and cant wait to be back after the New Year.

The entire team was amazing—from the front desk to the driver who picked me up at the airport and took me to my appointments. They treated me with so much kindness and respect. The experience was beyond anything I could have imagined. I feel like a new person, like I’ve been given a second chance with my smile. And on top of all that, the view from the office was incredible—I even saw a sloth and an iguana outside the window! I can’t recommend Dr. Meza and his team of professionals enough—he truly changed my life.

very best decision that I have ever made in my life! From the very start, all of my issues were clearly explained to me along with itemized pricing for each recommended procedure. They got started right away with the work on a Monday and when Friday afternoon arrived I was on my way to the Pacific side for some excellent warm water surf. I cannot remember the exact details, but I think that I returned on the following Tuesday for 5 root canals.. about 15 (or so) porcelain over metal crowns.. 1 molar implant and some basic cosmetic work on my upper front teeth (I later returned for dental veneers) on my (I believe it was the upper 6 and lower 6 front teeth or maybe it was 8/8) a couple of years later. When I returned to California (2 weeks later) on the 4th of July to see my 4 brothers and family.. I could not stop smiling. Before then, I was too embarrassed to smile widely for photos. I cannot thank Dr. Meza and Dr. Marin enough (and everyone else there) Rebecca and their wonderful driver Josept (who picked me up at the airport and dropped me off at my hotel and also back and forth for every appointment and for my departure flight). And also I have have to mention.. after my first visit and all the consecutive ones.. I no longer have a dental work phobia! I cannot recommend them highly enough! My journey began almost a year before and prior to Dr. Meza I had personally visited, had x-rays and consultations with 5 USA Dentists (Austin, TX) and spoke with 2 others (Miami and Seattle). Then I began searching for less expensive options without sacrificing Quality! I then spoke with 2 Dentist offices in Cancun (1 is also Dr Meza's in Cancun), 2 in Mexico (1 was a referral), 1 in Istanbul, and 4 others in Costa Rica. I also wanted to be thorough. The choice was obvious and simple-Dr. Meza’s Dental Clinic in San Jose Costa Rica. You’re not just a number with Dr. Meza and Dra. Marin as they completely gained my trust (not an easy task with Dentists I experienced as a child) as I knew that my health, appearance and having functioning teeth was also their main and true concern. And their office staff (Rebeca/Karol/personal drivers to and from) are welcoming, friendly, helpful-what a Wonderful experience this is (WHO says that about a Dentist office!?!) UPDATE: 6 months later-100% Success! Highly recommend Everyone go to Dr. Meza Dental Clinic in San Jose, Costa Rica (even the locals there know and brag about his office-for obvious reasons). Wow! decided to complete my smile transformation by getting crowns on my four Incisors. The results are absolutely incredible! My heartfelt gratitude goes out to Dr. Meza and his wonderful team for their outstanding work. What can I say? I have been going to Meza Dental Care since 2005. This round I had Doctor Jose Umana. Amazing doctor. I walked out looking like a star!!!!!! I recommend all dentists at Meza.

I have just completed my 2nd stage of Dental restoration. In addition to my previous work, I elected to have 5 more teeth restored . I also had two root canals done. Dr. Aguilar is fantastic, and very skilled in Endontics. He stayed later into the evening to get my work completed. He resolved an infection in my lower jaw, from a previous RC from years ago. I have felt so much better all around! I can’t Thank Meza Dental enough! From Jose taking driving Me, Dr Meza’s oversight on my Treatment. Special thanks to Dr. Marin. Dr Marin is amazing and probably the hardest working Dentist I’ve ever seen. She did an amazing job. Not only do my teeth look good, they also function perfectly and the bite and alignment are perfect. Going to Meza Dental is Costa Rica was a Great decision for Me.
