Am currently having my braces done here. Dr Joanne is extremely patient and gentle. Even the nurses and receptionists are kind. Highly recommend!
Had my long overdue teeth scaling and filling done by Dr Joanne and I couldn't be more relieved. I always have a strong fear of dental procedures, but she handled everything gently with so much patience. The nurses were also very supportive and the reception handled everything smoothly. I'm very grateful for the care.
Went to M Dental to have an old filling redone. I was attended by Dr Lim and what I had anticipated to be a scary experience turned out to be the complete opposite. Dr Lim was gentle, personable and incredibly patient — answering all my questions and letting me know exactly what she was doing before each step. work of any kind! I’ve been back twice recently and each visit has been painless and pleasant — thanks in large part to the team at M Dental. The dental assistants are professional and the receptionist is warm, welcoming and highly responsive. She sends timely reminders and follows up thoroughly the day after, checking in with a list of questions to make sure everything is okay. I highly recommend M Dental to anyone looking for excellent, worry-free dental care!
Had an excellent experience here, the staff were efficient, as I walk in nisa greeted me warmly, the environment well maintained and Dr Joanne the dentist provided clear explanation throughout the procedure with farah as assistant which gave me great confidence in overall service. Highly recommend

If you are loaded and don’t care about your money and time then you can take the risk at this dental, my story is, I recommended this place to my sister, after Dr Melvin did Xray and stuff, told her the problem is the old crown in her mouth …

Hi Mahni, I was not planning to reply to this but I’ve decided to stand up for myself and my profession because of you and your sister’s false accusations and defamation against me and my profession as a dentist. It’s deeply disappointing and painful to see someone I valued not only as my patient but in a way a friend choose to defame my character and profession. I’ve been very patient towards the both of u especially when you both keep asking for discount on every single treatment that you required. Let me get this straight once and for all. In July 2022, your sister came to see me after her last visit to my clinic 4 years ago in 2018. The reason for her visit was her old crown(which was not done by me) dislodged and asking me to recement it. Although I’ve advise her to redo the crown, she insisted to recement it first. So that’s what we agreed and I did. In August 2022, the old crown came off again, this time together with the tooth(core), left with the root intact (I have X-rays for this, and this molar is root canal treated, not done by me as well). I’ve told her the prognosis of the tooth is not good and advise for extraction, and future implant. But she refused, stating that she can’t afford implant and asking me to help her to save the tooth. I even ask her to go back to the previous dentist to get it done, and she told me she don’t trust that dentist anymore. So in the end, I redo a new core and crown for her under consent and the charges was RM2500 only. I even explained to her regarding any possible infection might occur for this tooth in the future and she fully understood. In December 2022, gum on that tooth got swell up, and again, she refused to get it extracted, so I did a deep scaling to reduced the swelling and advise her to consider extraction, as the medications and treatment is only a temporary solution. In April 2023, same swelling occur, same treatment was done, same advise was given. June 2023. Cbct was taken , and she request a referral letter from me for her to visit an endodontist. In 27th June 2023, she herself texted clinic and asking to remove the tooth and do implant immediately after extraction, as advised by the endodontist. 4th July, extraction was done by me - and I only charge her RM100(not the 300 that you claimed). Advise her for implant and mentioned to her that we might need to add bone graft because of the extend of infections causing severe bone loss. 8th August, came back to review and took X-rays to check on healing and amount of bone loss around that tooth. A fee of RM4500 was agreed for implant (my normal charges is RM6000-7000) gand I did mentioned to her that if we needed to add bone graft, there will be additional charges(around RM2000). From 8th August 2023 until January 2024, she keep on cancel her appointment without giving any valid reason. Until she called me 2 weeks ago and asking for a refund of the crown that I redo for her 2 years ago and ended up needing extraction, in a way is like my fault that causes the crown to dislodge - which I think it’s illogical and unfair to me. As for the vivid quotes attributed to our doctors, such as, "" let's think you had a leg surgery and the leg gets infected after that, do you think it's the surgeon fault?" and "" I hadn't studied for long time to become a dentist and give discounts to people!!!” —these are truly... interesting. While our team is known for their advanced training, clear communication, and providing multiple options, we regret that none of these colorful statements were made here. Lastly, i would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for your support all these years, although treating you both is not profiting, but I do appreciate the relationship between you and me and my team. That’s all I wanna say and whatever I’ve mentioned about is backed by her consent form, case notes, X-rays and payment receipts. Regards Dr Melvin Sia
