on problems all the way from my upper lip to my cheekbones, which caused the muscles to contract. This resulted in a number of symptoms, the most severe of which were significant changes in my facial appearance, which at the time were difficult for me to understand. At one time of the day, my face looked normal, but a few hours later, it was difficult to recognize it in the mirror (which I now know was due to muscle contraction after exposure to cold). The above symptom might be considered subjective at first glance—which I understand—but the above situation was also accompanied by other, easier-to-assess symptoms: 1. At the age of 37, a lisp appeared. It resulted from excessive tension in the orbicularis oris muscle, which prevented it from moving freely, making speech difficult. 2. The face moved asymmetrically when speaking. This resulted from asymmetrical muscle weakness (the left side of the face was weakened more than the right). 3. Upon exposure to cold, the facial muscles stiffened, making speech significantly more difficult, and this condition could persist for up to 1-2 weeks after exposure to cold. A problem with proper blood circulation to the face, which was drastically exacerbated by exposure to low temperatures. --- The two doctors I consulted at Luxmedica had different opinions, and they also made a few sensible suggestions, but the final diagnosis was clear: all of the above symptoms are a visual effect of aging, which is difficult for the patient to accept, and their solution should be sought from a beautician at a beauty salon or a plastic surgeon (this is precisely what the prosthetist I saw suggested). I understand that when a 37-year-old patient comes in and complains about facial problems, the first clue might be the effects of aging. Unfortunately, I find it difficult to understand that this diagnostic assumption wasn't at least questioned after presenting all the symptoms (which the prosthetist, in particular, experienced firsthand, as he himself noted both the lisp and the asymmetry of facial movement). I'm giving it a 2/5 instead of a 1/5 because the initial consultation with the surgeon indirectly helped identify the actual source of the problem.
I came to the clinic on a recommendation, and I've been very satisfied since my first visit. I saw Dr. Cichanowicz, who immediately gained my trust. I received a clear treatment plan and prompt help. I finally feel like someone has taken a comprehensive approach to my problem and that I'm in good hands. I definitely recommend this place!

The procedure was performed with exceptional professionalism – technically perfect, with meticulous attention to quality, and at the same time with exceptional gentleness.
