I had my tartar cleaned and I liked everything, I recommend it!

Please be careful with this clinic. I went there because of an overbite, which has now caused a small gap between my front teeth that may get worse. The doctor recommended 6 to 8 dental crowns instead of braces, which would mean filing down several healthy teeth. I then got a second opinion in Varna and a third one in England. Both dentists were shocked by this recommendation and said the normal approach in cases like mine is braces or aligners, not crowns. I am not sure why this was suggested, but the whole experience felt strange. I paid for the consultation but did not receive advice that matches standard practice. I strongly recommend getting another opinion before agreeing to any treatment here.

I went to the clinic for dental treatment: first, they took x-rays and a professional cleaning, then began treating the cavities. I should point out right away that the cost of the treatment was significantly higher than average—each filling costs around 200 euros (without root canal treatment, for normal cavities). I took this in stride, assuming the high cost was justified by the specialists' qualifications and the quality of the materials. After four teeth had been treated, I experienced pain and discomfort in two teeth. During a follow-up examination, they didn't give me a clear explanation, merely referring to "increased sensitivity." I hadn't experienced any pain or sensitivity before the treatment. Later, I scheduled an appointment to continue the treatment as planned, as I needed to finish treating the remaining teeth. During the appointment, I immediately brought the teeth that had been previously treated and were still hurting to the dentist's attention so that they could be re-examined, after which we could move on to treating the remaining cavities. In the end, we never moved on to treatment—time ran out. Instead, they started offering me a professional cleaning again, despite the fact that I'd already had one. I'd like to specifically highlight the payment issue: I was charged 50 euros for this appointment, as if it were an initial examination with a doctor I was already seeing. In fact, it was an examination of her previous work, without providing any new services. This surprised me and, frankly, was perceived as disrespectful to the patient. This approach raises serious questions: — lack of a clear diagnosis despite complaints; — repeated recommendations for procedures already performed; — payment for a full appointment without providing the requested service. This experience has made me realize that high prices for services do not guarantee either quality treatment or professionalism. I don't plan to return to this clinic.

Prices are sky-high. Before choosing a dental clinic, I compared prices in about 10-15 private clinics in Varna. As a result, it turned out that the cost of treatment here is significantly higher than the average in the city. A few examples of comparison: A zirconium crown is about €460 here, while in most clinics in Varna a similar crown costs about €250-320. A root canal treatment of one canal is about €200, in many other clinics it is usually €90-130. A root canal treatment of a multi-rooted tooth can reach €350-700, while the average price in the city is about €180-280. Composite fillings and restorations are about €90-100, while in most clinics in Varna it is €50-70. Wisdom tooth removal is about €125, in many clinics in the city it is usually €60–90. Temporary and laboratory crowns are also noticeably more expensive than the average in Varna. As a result, for many items the prices here are 40–80% higher than the average in Varna, and for some procedures - almost twice as high. The service is correct, but from a financial point of view I advise you to definitely compare prices with other dental clinics in Varna in advance to understand the real level of treatment costs.

Over the years, I've been to various dental offices in Varna with different specialists, but when I went to IDENT with Dr. Anatoly Karamanov, I realized this is the clinic where not only professionals work, but people who truly love their work, and it's like a big, friendly family. A wonderful clinic and a very professional surgeon. I had an implant placed and a wisdom tooth extracted at this clinic—both procedures went perfectly. My doctor was surgeon Anatoly Karamanov. I am very pleased with the results! This isn't my first implant, so I have something to compare it to. The surgery was quick, gentle, and painless. Much easier than my previous experience. I was pleasantly surprised that surgery can be so comfortable and relaxing. The doctor has a "light hand"—he administers anesthesia carefully, with minimal discomfort. He explains everything thoroughly during the consultation, and the quote is provided immediately—everything is transparent, with no unexpected extra charges. During the treatment, the doctor provides feedback on his actions, which is very reassuring and inspires confidence. The clinic is equipped with modern equipment, the staff is polite, and everyone speaks Russian. The service is excellent. After the procedure, they printed out detailed aftercare instructions for me and wrote me a prescription for pain medication and antibiotics, as prescribed after surgery. I definitely recommend the clinic and the doctor!

I strongly do not recommend this clinic. We paid 130 euros for a CT scan expecting to receive an official medical report. Instead, they called us back and invited us back “to clarify the details.” On the second visit, instead of a written result or protocol, my wife was shown “scary” images on a monitor and was verbally explained how serious and dangerous her condition was, while at the same time being told that for about 5,000 euros the problem could be “solved.” When we asked for an official written report from the CT scan — with a diagnosis, signature, and stamp — we were not given one. To this day, more than a week now, we have been demanding a medical report, but the clinic has been silent. All we received was a link to download raw files of about 700 MB in size, which cannot be viewed without specialized software and are completely useless for a patient without a medical opinion. We sought a second opinion at another clinic and it turned out that the procedures described as “urgent” and “necessary” were not necessary at all. The whole situation seems like an attempt to intimidate and financially pressure through fear, without assuming any medical or legal responsibility.

I was terrified of dentists! As a result, all my wisdom teeth were removed in 30 minutes, and I didn't feel a hint of pain or discomfort. He's incredibly skilled, compassionate, and professional! Now I'll only go to Karamanov!
