My son has been a patient of Dr. Eduardo since January 2025. Dr. Eduardo is always very attentive and assertive in his treatments. My son has been progressing well with the treatment thanks to his excellent work, and we are very satisfied.

I contacted the establishment to hire a specific procedure with the professional Eduardo Galbiati. From the first moment, I informed them that I already knew what I needed and did not want any prior steps. Even so, they insisted on charging a "consultation" fee of R$ 200 as a condition to proceed, without transparency regarding its purpose, criteria, or any discount on the main procedure price.…

Therefore, I considered the service disrespectful and inadequate. Legal Basis (Consumer Protection Code) This practice violates the right to adequate information (articles 6, III and 31) and may constitute an abusive practice (article 39, Consumer Protection Code), as it imposes an onerous step without real utility for the consumer who already knows the need for the service. I will be filing a lawsuit in the civil court and will also be opening a case with the public prosecutor's office for attempted fraud.

This review is so absurd that it shouldn't even need a response. But in consideration of the patients who trust us, we will respond. The young man contacted us via WhatsApp, saying that he already knew his diagnosis and only wanted the price. After we gave him an approximate price and informed him that he would need a consultation to be sure, he began to insist on closing the treatment at the approximate price we had given, without a prior consultation. We explained the obvious need, in order to be able to give him an accurate price without errors, and that this consultation had a cost. His conversation and approach were very strange, but even so, he was treated with total respect. As we did not give in to his pressure, he threatened to give us negative feedback here and on Reclame Aqui (Brazilian consumer complaint website). Our legal counsel, analyzing the conversations and reviews he makes at all establishments, saw that it is a "modus operandi" to create an absurd and exaggerated situation, probably trying to gain some advantage. We at Galbiati Odontologia are always ready to serve everyone who respects and values our work.
Dr. Eduardo is an excellent professional; my family has been seeing him for 17 years, and I recommend him 100%.

Our standard protocol includes the presentation and signing of a detailed contract before the start of treatment. In your specific case, the contract was indeed printed, but unfortunately it was not signed due to a specific oversight. Even so, all the details were explained in the initial consultation, but we understand that the patient does not remember everything, due to the numerous points discussed. As for the retainer, it is not included in the initial treatment cost, and we usually make this clear in the first conversation. We make this separation because we offer different types of retainers, with varying prices, so that we can choose the most appropriate option near the end of treatment. In your case, I even suggested a more economical solution by indicating direct payment to the laboratory — precisely to reduce your cost. Regarding additional maintenance appointments, they are only charged when the patient chooses to resume using the aligners after the completion of the original treatment, as happened in your case. The new planning and scanning were offered free of charge, with only the clinical services related to the new sessions being charged. We regret any lack of clarity during the process. Our goal has always been — and continues to be — to offer quality treatment that is transparent and offers the best possible cost-benefit ratio. Hi Valquíria, how are you? What was your health insurance plan? Dr. Eduardo only accepted Uniodonto and stopped accepting patients about a year and a half ago, and since then he has never refused to see patients who wanted to continue with us privately. Perhaps it was with another dentist who rented a room here, and we have no control over that. In any case, we are at your disposal for any assistance you may need.
Great place, very quiet and cozy, very well located, and the staff are very friendly and attentive. One of the best dentists in Maringá, I highly recommend it.
