surprisingly inexpensive, a savings of about 70% compared to my local dentist. They went out of their way to make our stay a positive experience including a discounted stay at a nice, conveniently located hotel and a complementary driver who picked us up at the airport when we arrived, drove me to my appointments and returned us to the airport when we were ready to return home. In summary, I recommend Flikier Dental highly for anyone needing significant dental work who wants to save a great deal of money and visit a beautiful tropical country. staff educations and experience. Both of mine were great. Yes, the injections hurt for the implant, but able to manage the recovery pain. I can say I have had many dental work and this group was very professional and great. Also, the staff is very nice and respectful. I do not look just at bedside manors alone however, they sure make things better when they are great at their jobs. Oh, they also helped with transportation from airport to lodging area which was very helpful . I used Airbnb and Flikier office helped with lodging locations. I stayed 2 blocks from the office and there is plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, banks and pharmacy near by. Very nice stay. The Costa Rica people are very nice. If you contact them you will communicate with Howard and he makes you feel at home.

My procedure went perfectly, I’m no longer in any pain, and I saved money, even with a 5 day visit to CR. If I need dental work like that again, I will definitely come back to the Flikier Institute.

Dr. Flikier: I want to thank you for the exceptional work you did to restore my chewing. I had concerns about traveling outside the U.S. for dental work. looked like Jim Carrey in "Dumb n Dumber"... couldnt smile.. There was simply no room to do Invisalign or "straightening"..so they all (8 had to be crowned) - Plus I had cavities at the veneer edges, at the base of some of my other teeth, needed two root canals, had two other broken teeth AND needed re-crowns on a few others too. Total 15 (YES FIFTEEN) crowns. They have an affiliated lab right next door! In the US they quoted me 17 crowns. Dr. Flikier and his endodontist recommended only 15. - said the other 2 were not necessary. Half price of the US so I got a vacation and new teeth for the same price - spent two weeks in other parts of CR then 2 weeks in SJ for teeth. They had to shape my front teeth crowns so that they would align looking natural. This obviously took not just technical but artistic talent... and computers! YAY! Now I can smile again! Great location easy to get to (walking) with condos nearby for AirbnB etc. Just.. go... you wont be disappointed. Thank you Dr. Flikier! By the way.. for anyone who is "thinking" about veneers, I can tell you, If I knew then what I know now, I would have never had veneers and never will again. They strip your enamel, which leaves bare tooth exposed, and as you age the gums recede a bit, leaving blank spaces for cavities (which DID form -with no enamel to protect), plus two of them kept falling off. I would just crown them. ..HERE, with Dr. Flikier!

Just finished my dental work: an in-lay, root canal, and crown. The treatment was fast, inexpensive, mostly painless, & without surprise expenses. Dr. Flikier and his staff are painstaking and caring. He is an excellent dentist but also a very educated man and interesting conversationalist.

to make the decision to take my son to another country for dental work made us nervous because there were so many unknowns. Due to the unknowns, we had many questions come to mind during the time we were consulting with Dr. Flikier. Every time I called or messaged him with questions, he would either answer or respond personally in a timely manner and provide very detailed information that helped put our minds at ease. When we arrived, Dr. Flikier and his entire team were amazing! I can't thank Dr. Flikier and his team enough for all they did for my son during the 2 weeks we were there. d, and truly friendly. The crown he placed on my implant is perfection, perfectly machined, perfectly installed and fine tuned. His entire staff have a friendly, welcoming disposition. Dr. Flikier is completely fluent in english (as is Dr Gunhaus, the periodontist. They both studied at Boston University). I thought my periodontist in the States was the best quality. Dr. Flikier's associate periodontist, Dr. Grunhaus, gave me an oral surgery that eclipsed the level of care and quality that my United States periodontist offers. This is the best work I have ever received. If you are looking for state of the art dentistry, performed with care and kindness, this is the place. Thank you, Simon. Excellent experience. Had a substantial amount of work done at Flikier and it has been the best, most positive experience with any dentist. Started with eleven extractions and then a complete re-build. Couldn't be happier with finished work. Additionally, staff are very professional and friendly. Appointments are always punctual.The actual place is scrupulously clean.
