My name is Brent. I wanted to leave my experience with you to review. Been going to Dr. Mexico for 5 to 7 years. I have nothing but quality work completed. They will meet you at the border and take you back. They will even come and get you at the airport and take you back for a very reasonable fee. and the staff is amazing. Never had an insurance problem. Communication with Hilda to get your paperwork is the best. I have had bridges, oral surgery, veneers, crowns and implants. I had a filling or two and evening cleaning. I only get cleaning done state side but when it comes to anything else I come here. I used to fly from Seattle and get seen the same day and fly back that night. I have even flown from Lexington Ky and got seen the same day and fly back that night. You can uber down and back to the airport with no problem. I flew once from Norfolk and stayed 2 days. So, for the cost you can fly round trip first class, rent a car if needed, and stay in a very nice hotel in downtown San Diego and still net the prices in America. I just like the service, atmosphere and the people here. I now see Carlonia. She is the best.

When you don’t have insurance and you are low on funds Dr Mexico is a great alternative. I highly recommend them. You start by picking up the phone and talking to Hilda. My wife Rose and I just returned to Florida from Dr Mexico's clinic in Tijuana Mexico. We flew to San Diego and picked up at the airport by, Cory, a driver from the clinic and taken to our hotel. First positive experience ever with a dental office! So friendly and knowledgeable! I had a root canal and crown and it was an overall good experience and the specialist was amazing and had such a gentle touch n made everything super comfortable for me through the whole experience. I have more work to be done and I will definitely be back and refer friends and family.

She has the utmost schooling and training and her work speaks for itself! Just incredible! Miguel the coordinator is always attentive to my needs and has always made sure that I know and understand that the word NO doesn’t exist in there vocabulary! He has always gone above and beyond for me . Sam the office manager has personally picked me up at the bridge and taken me for coffee just to say thanks and how much he appreciates my business ! Bad and dishonest Dental Office. Poor puck up service from the border. You can wait up to a hour for a ride. All the Dentist are just out of school. They practice on you. Very young...... We are sorry that this patient has a negative opinion. We truly do want the patients to have a positive experience, but sometimes peoples expectations are not realistic. To answer the points mentioned. Concerning patient pick up, usually our driver arrives within a couple of minutes, However, there are times when traffic can be unpredictable, or the patient is waiting in an unexpected spot, and the driver didn't see them. If the patient communicates properly, before crossing the border, unless there is a rare traffic problem, the driver will be there on time. As to the experience of the dentists, they have all been out of the University, and practicing full time for a minimum of 3 to 8 years. The dental university training is 5 years, with two years of public service. Our specialists have an additional 2 to 4 years of training, in advanced dentistry. It is just that they look young. As far as the treatments, after an evaluation, a dental plan is made, and the patient signs off on it before starting treatment. There may be an occasion where, once treatment is started the dentists discovers some additional treatments are needed, simply because x-rays don't always show everything, but the policy is to advise before continuing treatment. We try to do everything up front.

Prior to starting my dads treatment, Silvia was very helpful. Very accommodating and understanding. But this seemed like a front. only patients. We were ready to do the surgery, but the dentist talked to my father for approximately 30 seconds and then left. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Then the assistant talked about how we would have to come back every year because screws could go bad and how they would not cover this. Red flag number 2. She continued telling us how there could be many diseases due to the procedure. If a nurse/doctor is negative about the procedure why didn’t that tell us when I called them? Instead they were so positive on the phone. And told us that there was nothing to worry about. Next we were charged 200 dollars for the scan - I was made aware of this but even within the states scans are complimentary. We were also charged $20 just for the consultation. LOL! What consultation? The time y’all wasted? We were then also charged $80 to the dentist office and the driver told us he would also pick us up and drop us back to the hotel, but instead we were stopped to the border and left to find another ride. Even after all of this we said we would continue with the surgery because we traveled from Texas to California for this. I got a text a few hours later asking if we’d like to cancel. Horrible experience. I wasn’t going to write a review. But I asked for a copy of the scans and was given a blank document. I asked again today for them to resend and no response. Essentially paid $220 for nothing. Also they aren’t even that cheap - almost the same price as the states. Stay away.

went to my appointment but the public parking next door was closed because it was already full, and there is no parking on the street, I called the clinic and ask the guy who answered if there was parking available at the building? He said no, I said I don’t know what to do because I can’t park my car, I may need to either cancel or reschedule my appointment, the guy who answered the phone was so “RUDE” he asked: Do you want me to cancel ? Thank you for your review. We welcome all feedback, whether positive or negative. Firstly, I apologize if you had a difficult time reaching us to make an appointment. Due to government restrictions in response to Covid, we had to reorganize our employee roster to protect those that were considered at-risk. It took us a few weeks to get the bugs ironed out, but I apologize again if this caused you any difficulty. In regards to your phone call on the day of your appointment, I was present in the room when your coordinator spoke with you. As he mentioned, though there was a line, the public parking lot was not full. There were just a lot of in-and-out vehicles that day, which tends to slow down the line quite a bit. If I recall correctly, you then stated that we would either have to give you a parking spot in the building, or cancel your appointment. Unfortunately, as your coordinator stated, we do not own the parking lot in the building, and the building management has not made any spots available for public use. Though you cancelled your appointment, we’re happy to reschedule you for any time that is convenient. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to continue your treatment. If parking is an issue, we do offer a free shuttle from the Mexican side of the border (if you choose to walk across). If you’d prefer to drive into Tijuana, we can also pick you up from the Easy Park near the PedWest crossing. Thanks again for your feedback.
