I met Mr. Cem in 2010. Due to a bleeding problem stemming from my condition, I couldn't have a tooth extracted. With his expertise and confidence, he extracted my tooth and placed an implant. From that day on, I've had no trouble visiting a dentist. During all these years, I've experienced no pain during the necessary treatments. I sit in that chair, which everyone dreads, with great confidence. It's a brilliant work environment and a fantastic team. I'm so lucky to have met him.

After a lifetime of horrendous dental situations and dentists, in many countries, where i can only assume they made deals with the devil, I came to Istanbul to take one last shot at not only repairing my teeth, but to obliterate my fear and boost my self esteem. With 3 potential clinics in view to compare treatments, philosophies, and costing.... Professor Cem was my first call. His consulting assessment, personal charisma, and thoroughly paced explanations were an immediate tick in all boxes. So much so that after leaving the assessment session, I took a stroll through the city for an hour on my way to my other planned assessments. During a brief coffee stop, an overwhelming notion hit me that I will most likely not receive such a welcome and calming influence as I had just experienced. It was truly profound. Therefore, I made an immediate U-turn straight back to Professor Cem's clinic and wonderful team to make my commitment to go forward with my treatments. Upon the first day of treatment, the reassurances, relaxed atmosphere, and comforting humour and banter within the entire team was incredible. Any nervous energy i carried into the clinic that day literally evaporated. I had 3 sessions in total for phase 1 of my schedule. Days 2 and 3 were just so easy. End of day 3, I was a little overwhelmed by the renewed and fearless patient I became, and all is due to Cem and his clinical team. In total, I had 2 extractions, a temporary bridge, and 8 implants. I must, in all good conscience, recommend no other clinic for such work, and I eagerly await my return to complete this positive transformation i desperately needed. After enduring excruciating pain during the preparation for dental implants, crowns, and bridgework (28 crowns including bridge work), I feel compelled to share my experience with others who may consider treatment from Dr. Cem Baysal in Istanbul. My decision to speak out was influenced by a woman's account of her medical treatment in Turkey that I saw on the TV show "This Morning." I want to outline the challenges I faced during my dental treatment. First and foremost, there was no aftercare plan or advice provided. It has been nearly two years since my treatment was completed, yet I have had to visit a UK dentist eight times to re-glue crowns that have come loose and fallen out. I was assured that it was impossible for my crowns to break. Additionally, the staff at the practice often spoke to each other in different languages, and at times, I felt as though they were discussing me and laughing when I was in pain. Despite paying for what was advertised as the best possible treatment using the strongest materials, my UK dental surgeon recently informed me that I have a crack in one of my crowns and a chip in another. This does not match the quality I was promised. After spending over £18,000 on my treatment, I strongly advise anyone considering a visit to Dr. Cem Baysal to think twice. I recently informed Dr. Baysal about these issues, and his response was merely to confirm that I had paid for the strongest materials and that it shouldn’t have cracked. His reply was, “Let's see you if possible” and “We can see you better.” I found this response quite baffling. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Dr. Cem Baysal. I always allow some time before leaving a review; while everything might seem fine immediately after treatment, the test of time is crucial in assessing the durability of the work performed. Unfortunately, in this instance, it has not held up. BE WARNED.
