I have been going to Dr. Péter Nyorba for almost 10 years. His precision and expertise are exceptional, and his good-natured, humorous personality makes even unpleasant interventions easier. I especially appreciate that he talks to me during treatments, explains in detail, and pays attention to whether I am okay. A truly conscientious doctor, I turn to him with confidence every time. The clinic accepts foreign patients, but the dentist himself does not speak much English. They have English-speaking staff for interpretation during treatments. The doctor claims to speak little English but is fluent in Hungarian, German, Dutch, Russian, and other languages (if I understood him correctly). Despite occasional difficulties in communication (with an English-speaking patient), he is very friendly and attentive to the patient. I had an implant and two fillings, one of which was with a root canal, done at the clinic. Treatments seemed to go smoothly. The fillings had some complications later. I'm not sure if it was due to the procedure itself. I reported it to the clinic, and they reexamined the tooth upon my next visit. They attributed my pain episodes when biting on certain foods to height mismatches and adjusted the bite, but it did not solve the problem. I reported accordingly, and they adjusted the height again, saying that no issues are visible in the X-ray. Its effectiveness remains to be seen. The implant was placed without a problem. The long-term stability remains to be seen. One complaint about the clinic is the use of fragrances. They fill the hall and the waiting room with aromatic diffusers. Not only is the smell unpleasant for those who dislike fragrances (like me), but some VOCs released by these oils are harmful. Public awareness of endocrine disruptors and carcinogens in or derived from common fragrances is low, but I would expect a clinic to be aware and mindful of these potential health risks.

In such cases, various treatment options are available: sometimes the tooth can be saved by treating the periodontitis, but in other situations, unfortunately, extraction is necessary.
