I don't recommend it! They need to improve their in-person service. It doesn't even feel like a private consultation; I was disappointed.
I do not recommend him! I scheduled an appointment with the doctor for a cleaning. When I arrived, he only did an evaluation because he had scheduled another patient for 15 minutes later. At the beginning of the specialist's consultation, I mentioned that I had a certain problem with dentists and everything else, and I was completely welcomed and reassured. The procedure went perfectly, and I was left without toothache. We scheduled the tooth restoration for 3 days later. The restoration was performed by Dr. Breno, who, like Dr. Gustavo, proved to be a highly skilled professional, making the overall experience sensational. Excellent service. I needed treatment for a toothache over the weekend and received a quick response via WhatsApp. The wisdom tooth extraction procedure was very smooth and painless, as I was well anesthetized. I went to the dentist in a lot of pain for an evaluation and to have a wisdom tooth extracted. I left the office in tears, thinking I was going to lose a tooth. He said that to remove the wisdom tooth I would have to have a cleaning because there was a lot of tartar, which was due to poor hygiene, but he warned me that after the cleaning there was a 99% chance that all my lower teeth would fall…

He charged me 150 for a prescription for Toragesic, which I now discovered I can buy without a prescription, haha. He didn't mention any exams or anything, but guess what? I had an x-ray, a cleaning, had my wisdom tooth extracted, and I still have my teeth... Thank you, now I know where not to go.

He constantly repeated that he was the 'professional' and that he knew what he was doing, but without showing patience or understanding. When I questioned the prescribed medications, I was treated with disdain, with the dentist asking me if I was a doctor, simply for trying to help my mother. I work in a pharmacy and wanted to expedite the process so she could get the medication as quickly as possible. Knowing how important it is to care for vulnerable patients, I believe that a healthcare professional's service should always be provided with empathy and respect. Unfortunately, this was lacking in this appointment. Furthermore, his approach regarding treatment was very pushy, demanding immediate confirmation for an expensive procedure without giving us time to calmly evaluate the options. Although he did the correct assessment and provided the prescription, the way he treated the patient was very unpleasant. If you are looking for a caring, patient, and empathetic professional, this is not the place. I hope this review serves as a warning to other patients before scheduling an appointment.

However, let's clarify the specific problems you mentioned: -As I said, your mother was very nervous and scared, and I told her to calm down, that I was a professional and knew what I was doing, precisely to reassure and calm her down. -When you asked what the medication was, I told you what it was and asked if you were a doctor, not to confront you for questioning my prescription, but simply out of curiosity to know if you worked in the healthcare field and would recognize the medication. Your mother explained that you worked in a pharmacy, and I understood, that's fine. -Your mother's appointment was at approximately 7 pm, and I asked for confirmation by 10:30 pm whether the procedure would be performed, as it would be done the following morning. I also needed to confirm with the specialist on our team whether the procedure would be performed or not. We are available for any questions.
