My experience at this dental clinic was not positive. During my visit, the atmosphere was noticeably unprofessional, as the doctor addressed his staff inappropriately and in a tone unsuitable for a public service setting. I believe that a healthcare facility should demonstrate respect and professionalism towards both patients and staff.

the procedure and explaining what had happened, she tried to force me to accept a root canal IMMEDIATELY while I was trapped in the chair, in pain and in shock. She NEVER warned me BEFORE the procedure that there was a risk of reaching the nerve. She NEVER gave me options. She NEVER asked me for written informed consent as required by Mexican law. SERIOUS VIOLATIONS: ❌ Zero informed consent (violation of the General Health Law, Article 100) ❌ Medical negligence - drilled the nerve without proper precautions ❌ Attempted to take advantage of my vulnerable situation to sell me an expensive treatment ❌ Complete lack of professional ethics ❌ Violation of my rights as a patient (NOM-004-SSA3-2012) DAMAGE CAUSED: Permanently damaged dental nerve Chronic pain that continues [X time later] Psychological trauma from the experience Additional expenses for corrective treatment with another professional [Add any other symptoms: extreme sensitivity, loss of sensation, infections, etc.] WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE: Before touching my tooth, he should have: Explained the risks of the procedure Informed me if there was a possibility of reaching the nerve Give me options and alternatives Obtain my written informed consent Stop immediately after drilling the nerve and calmly explain the situation to me Instead This turned a routine appointment into a medical and legal nightmare. WARNING TO FUTURE PATIENTS: This dentist does not respect your rights as a patient. She does not inform you of the risks. And when she makes serious mistakes, she tries to pressure you into paying to fix HER negligence. I have filed formal complaints with COFEPRIS and CONAMED, and I am proceeding with legal action for medical malpractice. If you value your dental health and your rights as a patient, seek care elsewhere.

I had a great experience getting my crown put back in. The facility was extremely nice inside and so were the people. The reception and the dentist spoke great English with was helpful because I am still learning Spanish. They gave me two options for my repair but did not try to push me on getting the more expensive option. I have more work that needs to be done and I will definitely come back…

Is it just me? Or do I feel ripped off every time I've taken my kids there? It seems like with Dr. Luz, I go in for one thing and end up being charged for things I didn't ask for.
