I don't recommend this place due to a wisdom tooth surgery performed on a patient where it seems the doctor didn't thoroughly study the case. The patient had cuts in the wrong places, so the wisdom tooth couldn't be found. It's understandable that these types of situations can arise, but every professional in any field knows that they need to resolve situations and problems that arise. In this…

case, the doctor only gave the patient two stitches, sent him home, and told him that if he felt ill, he could go to a clinic. She would let him know what time the next day he could arrive to continue with the operation. The patient, at that moment, obviously wouldn't be 100% fit to be aware of how much blood was coming out or even how he felt at the moment, since he was coming from anesthesia and a two-hour surgical procedure! So, in these cases, the patient trusts his doctor and goes home. But when she arrived, she started bleeding a lot, and luckily, we were able to go to a medical center where they did have a maxillofacial surgeon, who managed to remove the wisdom tooth in an hour. She indicated that the doctor at this office had engaged in malpractice.

Reply from the clinic

Thank you for your message. I would like to inform you that the situation has already been resolved with the patient. First, I have over 10 years of experience and my dental degree, which qualifies me to perform this procedure. However, it was not possible at the time to perform a complete tooth extraction. This was explained to the patient, and that was the reason why they were scheduled for the next day's extraction. How can this happen? This is common, not malpractice. If you review the complications of wisdom tooth surgery, you will find that it can happen. The patient was given post-operative instructions. He was doing completely well with no bleeding. He was in the clinic for about 10 to 15 minutes while the medication was prescribed without any problems. About an hour after this, the patient wrote to me that he was bleeding. He was initially given the instruction that if the bleeding was heavy, he should go to a hospital (since it was nighttime and the clinic was closed). The patient confirmed that he was managing it with gauze and ice. He was consulted again, and at no point did he mention that it was heavy. I didn't find out about the situation until the next day, and I immediately contacted the patient. There are risks, as with any treatment; this is different from malpractice.
