d inflammation that simply wouldn't go away. I returned several times, reporting exactly what I was feeling. With each return, the expectation was for improvement, but that didn't happen. The problem dragged on for MONTHS, with attempts that DID NOT SOLVE the situation, and sometimes I was treated with TOTAL DISREGARD. The most distressing thing was living with continuous pain. I had sleepless nights, difficulty eating, and a constant feeling that something was wrong. Even so, a definitive solution did not come in the necessary time. When I finally had a CT scan, it became clear that the treatment HAD FLAWS, which explained all the suffering I had been experiencing from the beginning. The outcome was extremely frustrating: I had to HAVE THE TOOTH EXTRACTED and now I'm having to undergo a dental implant, something much more invasive, expensive, and physically and emotionally draining. I'm reporting all this because nobody starts treatment expecting to go through months of PAIN AND SUFFERING and end up losing a tooth. I hope the company treats this situation with the seriousness it deserves.

In the end, the worst happened: she had to have the tooth extracted and now needs an implant, something much more invasive and expensive. As a daughter, it's distressing to see a problem that could have been solved turn into something much bigger. There's a clear feeling of loss and frustration. I leave this account as a real warning: monitor closely, ask questions, and don't ignore signs that something is wrong.
The experience was excellent, from the reception to the consultation. I would like to give special praise to Dr. Laisa, who was very kind and careful during the appointment.
I received excellent service from the secretary, Ana Clara, who was very friendly and helpful. It was easy to schedule an appointment via WhatsApp, and I didn't have to wait long at all.

Then, she suggested that we could just restore the tooth without doing the root canal, but that it would be necessary to apply a laser, charging an additional R$ 260.00 separately. Feeling insecure about the situation, I sought a second opinion at Dr. Paolla do Carmo's clinic. There, they performed the entire procedure through the insurance, without any additional charges, and explained that there was no need for a root canal. Unfortunately, my experience at this clinic was very negative. This serves as a warning for other people to seek a second opinion before accepting extra procedures and costs.

Hello Evelyn. Thank you for sharing your experience. During your clinical and radiographic evaluation, we identified signs consistent with possible pulp involvement. Given this scenario, we presented all therapeutic possibilities, always prioritizing tooth preservation and long-term health. On the same day, we performed a restoration through your insurance plan, as well as the other indicated restorations, prophylaxis, and root canal treatment (if necessary), which would normally be covered by the plan. In situations with greater loss of structure, after the root canal, there may be an indication for prosthetic rehabilitation in ceramic to reinforce the tooth, as it offers greater resistance compared to a simple restoration. Some insurance plans do not cover this material. A conservative alternative was also presented, through expectant treatment with medication combined with laser therapy, with the aim of reducing inflammation and trying to avoid the need for a root canal. In borderline cases, different approaches may exist, all scientifically supported. We remain available to continue your treatment, should you wish. CARAS – Clinical Dental Center

m privately to have the crown remade. Fine, I didn't hesitate and made the investment privately. The procedure was completed, and in the first few weeks I felt considerable pain in the tooth he had treated. I researched and observed that there could be discomfort in the first few months after a root canal. After 7 MONTHS, the pain continued and only increased, so I contacted him again. He ordered tests, and in the meantime, before returning, the crown he had made developed a large crack at the base. After the tests, I returned with the cracked tooth, and he informed me that there was NOTHING wrong, even though the gum in the area was inflamed. The dentist said the crown must have broken because it was under too much "pressure." He sanded down the broken part and simply let me go, saying everything was okay. I immediately questioned whether my tooth would still have that hole, and at first he tried to convince me it didn't, that it looked very similar to my "normal" tooth on the other side. But he said if I wanted, I could PAY AGAIN for a new crown. I only left because I was late for an appointment, but I sent a message that same day saying I didn't think it was fair that I had invested in something recommended by him, especially since it was supposed to be better in terms of QUALITY AND DURABILITY, and that in less than 7 months the procedure had broken, leaving me with a tooth like it was when I arrived in January – broken. After a few days, I received a reply saying that if I wanted, I would indeed have to pay again to fix the damage. In short: I will seek another dentist to evaluate this whole situation. It was a TERRIBLE experience, and I'm sharing my account here so you can think carefully before investing in what's being offered, because I feel cheated and harmed after this whole situation.
