Regarding your experience, we want to clarify a few points. Treatment prices are always discussed transparently, and we make every effort to ensure patients fully understand their quotes. Your initial quote for a surgical extraction, implant, and bone graft did not include the crown, which was clearly communicated at the time. Despite this, Dr. Russell extended a significant discount for the crown and abutment to accommodate you. It’s also important to note that our team works hard to manage a busy schedule and honor the appointments of all our patients. While we aim to assist walk-ins when possible, we recommend scheduling and confirming appointments to ensure timely care and avoid disruptions to other patients’ treatment times. Unfortunately, there have been multiple instances where you arrived without an appointment and were rude to our receptionists when informed of our policies. Dr. Russell, along with Alberta Dental, reserves the right to deny service to anyone who engages in disrespectful behavior toward our staff or other patients. For the record, our clinic is equipped with cameras and audio, which document all interactions. We will not tolerate defamatory statements that misrepresent our team or the quality of our work. We remain committed to providing high-quality care and fostering a positive environment for all our patients. If you wish to discuss this further in a constructive manner, we are open to resolving your concerns directly.

We reviewed your X-rays in November 2022 following your initial message, and as we informed you at that time, only one crown showed any issue with sealing. Our findings confirmed that all other crowns were fully sealed, with no evidence of the “open margins” or “under-contouring” your local dentist described. In fact, the specific aesthetic requests you made (including wider crowns) were met per your preference, which may have contributed to the flossing challenges you mentioned. We take immense pride in our work and in providing thorough, long-lasting care, as demonstrated by the care taken on each crown. We’d like to reiterate that our warranty program covers adjustments needed for the specific crown we identified—but for that, an in-person visit to our clinic is required, per the terms of our warranty. Please also note that sharing inaccurate information about your case, or claims that all crowns were poorly fitted, does not align with the high-quality standards of our work and the evidence we’ve shared with you. If you’d like to move forward in resolving any remaining concerns under the warranty program, please contact us to arrange an in-person visit.
