Serbia is Central Europe's most cost-effective dental tourism destination, offering savings of 60-75% versus Western European prices with fully modern clinics concentrated in Belgrade. SmileJet has verified 30 clinics in Belgrade, with a collective 4.8 average rating across 2,831 patient reviews. Top-rated practices include Stomatoloska ordinacija Cvejanovic (244 reviews, 4.97 rating), Dental clinic TIA dentico (142 reviews, 5.0 rating), Dentist Belgrade, MY DENT, and Prime Dental Studio. Serbian dentists train at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Dental Medicine (founded 1948) and often complete specialty training in Germany, Italy, or Switzerland. Leading clinics operate with CBCT 3D imaging, CAD/CAM workflows, and international-brand implants (Straumann, Nobel Biocare, Ankylos). Serbia is particularly popular with German, Austrian, Swiss, and British patients given short flights from major European hubs and Belgrade's increasingly cosmopolitan profile. [1]

We've toured the clinics, priced the procedures, and watched the waiting rooms. Here's what we found on the ground — and what we'd tell a friend considering the trip.

Where the clinics are
Most of the quality concentration in Serbia sits in two to three cities. Each has its own character, its own airport, and its own mix of specialisms. Start by picking the city.
Definitely, when you have a top dentist, you have solved half the problem! I am one of them. Literally nothing hurts no matter what I do. From repairs to tooth extractions... Top experts, perfectionists, you do your job great! Dr. Tatjana, thank you for puttin...
What's different about dentistry here
The training
Senior clinicians at our Serbia-partner clinics typically hold international fellowships (ICOI, Pankey, Kois) alongside domestic credentials. We verify each one, and link them on every clinic dossier.
The equipment
CBCT, digital impressions, and in-house milling are standard at our top-tier clinics. Materials are imported — Straumann, Nobel Biocare, Ivoclar. Our audits photograph lot numbers and expiration dates.
The logistics
English-speaking coordinators, airport pickup, hotel coordination, and post-op follow-up via WhatsApp are table stakes. If a clinic doesn't do these things, they don't make our list.
The follow-up
We keep touch for 12 months post-treatment. Any clinic that drops communication with a patient for more than 72 hours gets flagged and eventually dropped. Patient support is the one non-negotiable.
