Australia has one of the world's highest-rated dental care systems, with SmileJet verifying 372 clinics across six major metropolitan hubs: Brisbane (79 clinics), Sydney (56), Melbourne (52), Perth (50), Gold Coast (48), and Adelaide (47). Australian clinics maintain a collective 4.8 average rating across 48,683 patient reviews, reflecting consistently high clinical standards, CBCT 3D diagnostic imaging, and tight AHPRA regulatory oversight. However, Australian dental fees rank among the highest globally โ a single implant often costs AUD $5,500, All-on-4 arches AUD $28,000, and veneers AUD $1,980 each โ which is why tens of thousands of Australians travel to Vietnam, Thailand, Turkey, and Mexico each year for 60-80% savings on the same procedures with equivalent brands and materials. This page lists top Australian clinics for local care, while our destination directory shows comparable overseas options if you're considering dental tourism. [1]

Prices that are actually the prices
What you pay at the chair is what the clinic quoted in writing. There's no insurance-driven mark-up, no surprise "lab fees" introduced on day two. Below is the range we've seen across 870+ audited clinics in Australia this year โ compared to the same procedures at domestic prices in the US, UK, and Australia.

I had a wonderful experience today with Dr Hurle and Alisa. I was very nervous about getting a tooth filling and they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. If you are hesitating to book an appointment here, donโt!
What's different about dentistry here
The training
Senior clinicians at our Australia-partner clinics typically hold international fellowships (ICOI, Pankey, Kois) alongside domestic credentials. We verify each one, and link them on every clinic dossier.
The equipment
CBCT, digital impressions, and in-house milling are standard at our top-tier clinics. Materials are imported โ Straumann, Nobel Biocare, Ivoclar. Our audits photograph lot numbers and expiration dates.
The logistics
English-speaking coordinators, airport pickup, hotel coordination, and post-op follow-up via WhatsApp are table stakes. If a clinic doesn't do these things, they don't make our list.
The follow-up
We keep touch for 12 months post-treatment. Any clinic that drops communication with a patient for more than 72 hours gets flagged and eventually dropped. Patient support is the one non-negotiable.
