Great experience with Dr Choong! She is really kind and friendly. She also patiently explained the process of tooth removal to my child and taught her about how to maintain good oral hygiene. I recommend everyone to see her.

I've had my teeth maintained here for many years. Dr. Ye provides highly professional treatment and information, with meticulous care and patience. The fillings I've had are very durable and long-lasting. The team of friendly and supportive medical staff is also wonderful. Coming here for fillings feels like coming home; I feel very safe and at ease. Highly recommended.

Exhorbitant charge for scaling that costs RM230!! This is for a 16 year old who doesn’t smoke nor drink coffee. And the process was painful since the numb spray only lasted less than 5 mins! Both pain to wallet and mouth. Thanks for calling back to explain. However the inflamed gums condition should be informed during treatment and not after this review.

Good day Ms Linda, First of all, Yap Dental Surgery team would like to thank you for your support all this while. Secondly, we have always been standardised with our price. For your information, charges of scaling procedure is based on the severity of the gums condition (presence of calculus/plaque, staining etc) and extra materials (topical anaesthesia, mouthwash, gum gel etc). In your case, despite having coffee and smoking stains, the above mentioned patient’s gums condition was severely inflamed due to heavy plaque accumulation for a long period of time. In addition, we even provided chlorhexidine mouthwash to be used at home. Thirdly, pain during the procedure could be worse if topical anesthetic spray was not applied as doctor did a proper and thorough cleaning to ease the inflamed gum. Since this was patient’s first time doing dental scaling, anaesthetic injection with scaling would be considered too invasive. At last, we would like to thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. We take pride in providing high-quality dental care tailored to each individual's needs. In cases where extra effort is required due to poor oral hygiene, additional time and resources are necessary to ensure a thorough cleaning process. I am a long-time patient of Dr Yap who is very experienced. My dental problems were solved well by the Dr and the price was also reasonable. I highly recommend Yap Dental Taman Desa for any dental problems.

Excellent Dr Choong treating my visit a very ease. And my mum of 82 seeing Dr Yao and he is also excellent to max.
Just had my wisdom tooth extracted by Dr. Chung Wai Yee. She is very gentle & professional. Both Dr. Yap & Dr. Chung are also very professional & confident in their advices. Next will be scheduling for possible 2 to 3 crowning. They will give you advice on the type of crown material suitable for use. Price wise in my opinion is very reasonable. They don't charge exorbitantly high.
The clinic is clean and comfy. Dentist Yap is neat in his work. I have had my brace treatment and scaling here, which have been a pleasant experience.
