WHITE COAST Restorative Dentistry

I recently had some major dental work done at White Coast Restorative Dentistry which included multiple extractions, the placement of a six unit permanent bridge, and the fitting of several crowns. I had consulted with both a dentist and oral surgeon in the United States. Both recommended even more extensive and extraordinarily expensive treatment without explaining their reasoning or demonstrating a willingness to consider other options. I explored alternatives and my research led me to White Coast Restorative Dentistry in Playa del Carmen. I am a 75 year old retired professional who was just a bit concerned about extensive travel and treatment away from supportive family and friends. I only mention my age because I want to assure others of my generation that White Coast makes every effort to make travel and treatment comfortable and reliable. They provided a detailed, daily schedule. They picked me up at the airport, provided transportation from my hotel to their clinic and back for each appointment, and returned me to the airport again at the end of a week of service. I cannot find enough positive words to describe my experience at White Coast Restorative Dentistry. I was deeply impressed by Dr. Juan and Dr. Karen’s clear commitment to clinical excellence, their thoroughness and organization, their attention to detail, their willingness to explain each step of the treatment process, and, most of all, the overwhelming kindness and compassion they extended to me. They explored workable options with me that were more affordable and less intrusive. My overall experience was that I was working with skilled dental providers who treated me like family. The entire staff and all associates of White Coast evidence a high level of professionalism that is matched only by their character and welcoming attitude. I would not hesitate for a moment to return to their clinic for treatment and would recommend them to anyone for dental services.

I LOVE my new teeth! It feels like I finally have my old smile back... after years of dealing with a loose top bridge (done in Idaho) and a bad experience replacing my bottom teeth (in LaPaz, MX)! I flew into Cancun (CUN) & was picked up at the airport and driven to my hotel in Playa del Carmen. Dr. Juan, Karen and the entire staff (including chauffers, especially Daniel) at White Coast Dental were just amazing. Dr. Juan made sure I left with exactly what I wanted - my teeth are not only beautiful, they are strong, fit perfectly & feel like my own original teeth! I have so much confidence in his abilities, I plan to return to White Coast for any & all of my future dental work. It's no problem if you are not a Spanish speaker as Dr. Juan & Karen speak perfect English. They also connected me with a lovely boutique hotel (Hotel Cielo), who offer a discount if you are there for dental work. Alberto (Beto) is the manager and also speaks perfect English. I get so many compliments, I am constantly singing their praises. This is a Dental "Staycation" that is definitely worth the trip!

White Coast Dentistry is the most professional dental experience I have ever had. The expertise is tops, and the efficient process was so smooth. To add to this glowing report, the dentist Dr Juan Carlos Luevano and the staff - especially Karen - are extremely hospitable and made me feel so comfortable - no rush - no overbooking - one to one attention - time for any questions or concerns - and to add to that: their driver picked me up at the airport upon arrival and brought me to my hotel (fabulous Mexican old world hotel 1 block from the beach and 5th Ave - inexpensive which they had suggested) AND their driver picked me up from the hotel to bring me to the dental office - then picked me up for a follow-up visit and waited each time to drive me back to the hotel Also drove me to the airport - always available on my timeframe. He also drove me to the pharmacy and waited for my prescriptions. When I asked the suggested tip, the staff told me that they take care of it! Compared to the dentist I have been seeing, this dental experience was like night and day. I wish I had known of White Coast Dentistry last year. All in all, I experienced expert dentistry AND saved thousands of dollars AND had a relaxing restorative vacation on the Maya Riviera. I felt like the spoiled child of the entire team. They treated me with such love and patience. I've always been terrified of dentists, but here they made me feel calm, cared for, and supported at all times. White Coast Dentistry and Dr. Juan were amazing! Better work at 40% the cost of Americano Dentistas! This savings more than paid for the airfare and lodging in Playa Del Carmen. Transportation from the airport was included and I felt very safe with the whole experience. He actually corrected a faulty implant I had done in the U.S. years ago. Also, they include a free night guard which has improved my sleep as well. Better dental care without the financial raping..bottom line!!

I came here as a dental tourist from Florida, and the care I received was beyond my expectations. The clinic arranged for my transportation to/from the airport and to each appointment from my hotel. I had several teeth worked on, including veneers and a bridge. I was quoted an obscene amount for just the bridge at my local dentist, and opted to come here instead. Dr. Luévano and team took such great care of making sure the work they did was what I wanted and looked natural. I came in on a Monday for a consultation and by Friday had a completely new smile. I can't possibly overstate how happy I am with the work. If you're on the fence about coming here for dental work, it's 100% worth it. They made everything about the process so easy. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

My husband Jeremy and I, Kim, went here to get our teeth cleaned while on vacation. The price was very fair for the teeth cleaning and White Coast Restorative Dentistry had so many positive reviews and we can see why! The facility itself was very nice and so were the people. Karen took care of us and she did a fantastic job. You can tell she really is passionate and good at her job. She was very gentle and made sure we were comfortable l. I feel like she goes above and beyond and we will definitely come back in the future for another teeth cleaning and for Jeremy’s wisdom teeth removal. Gracias for your great service!

It has taken me a while to get around to writing my review. I feel so fortunate that I chose white coast dental in Playacar. Dr Juan and Dr Karen have been amazing through out my journey. I had implants and a bridge . I made several trips to the most beautiful country Mexico. Each visit I was treated with such kindness from the doctors and their staff. They have moved into a brand new office and it is beautiful modern with up to date equipment and very clean. I can’t wait to go back for my veneers spring 2025. I will for sure recommend them to friends and family. You will never get the service they offer here in Canada . They pick you up and drop you off. They follow up with phones calls to make sure everything is going well. What can I say except if you chose them you will be so happy. After many year of neglect and middling dentistry in the US, I did extensive research that led me to Dr. Juan, Dr. Karen and the staff at White Coast for extensive reconstruction. From our first conversation Dr. Karen covered every detail of my initial visit; airport transfers, recommendations on accommodations in Playa Del Carman, tremendous guidance on treatment and procedure options, comprehensive, detailed cost estimates, everything I needed to make informed decisions. My restoration required a tremendous amount of work—Dr Juan is professionally credentialed in all disciplines; he removed old bridgework and crowns, performed extractions and root canals, bone grafts, implants, prepared and installed bridges and crowns and did it all with gentleness and the utmost consideration of my concerns and needs as a patient. When he’d completed the technical, foundational work and it came time for the team to give me back the smile I’d lost, he became an exacting artist who took an enormous amount of time to satisfy himself and me that everything was perfect. What would have taken many weeks, if not months, to complete in the US was accomplished in a few days at White Coast. The quality of the work is beyond anything I could have imagined and my savings compared to having the same procedures performed in the US was astonishing. The clinic and its equipment is new and state of the art. I have many health care providers in my family and believe I have a good understanding of quality of care— I can honestly say that Dr. Juan and Dr. Karen have the rare and admirable ability to make me feel I am their only patient and I’d wager that each and every patient feels the same. That’s as good as it gets, there is no higher standard to be met, and I will always know that I made the very best decision possible when I went to them for care. I’m sending loved ones their way without hesitation. When’s the last time a health care professional told you they love you as you leave their office?!
