They have been there a long time and aren’t a fly by night operation. They speak excellent English too. There is a reason they are rated 5 stars. They’ve earned it!

nd researching doctors in Mexico, looking up credentials and reading reviews. Did this for 40 different providers and Dr & Drs Vega came out ahead of everyone else. Both are well educated, experienced, and they are the face of their business, posting their pictures and resumes online. I drove 500 miles with my three little dogs to spend two weeks in my camper at the campground on the border. I had five appointments during this time, including two root canals, a bone graft, two crowns and finally an implant (less the abutment and crown, which can only be done after the implant is healed with the bone after six months). This the most extreme dental work I've ever received and in the shortest timeframe. What a fantastic job by Dr Vega. He is silky smooth with his tools. I spent 5 hours in his chair and never once did he slip, pinch, pry, or twist in any way that was uncomfortable. Never once was the little suction tube in a place that I even noticed. At one point during my second root canal a nerve wasn't completely numb and I was going to tough it out but he noticed, stopped, took additional action with a precise dose of novacaine, then continued his work with no discomfort on my part. I didn't think I was reacting to the pain, but he could tell! Damn. I've NEVER had this happen at the endodontics or dentists office! I didn't even have to ask! Throughout the process he took X-rays (5 or6 with each root canal) which were on a display i could see and he explained everything along the way. He had me get a 3D x-ray to ensure proper location of the implant. He sat down with me one on one to explain and show me why I needed a bone graft. Everything made complete sense and he answered questions before I even asked. This all led up to the bone graft and implant, which would have been traumatizing if he wasn't so careful. He used only as much force as was needed and it was surprisingly easy. So much potential for a slip or jab or smooshed lip-- but he was perfect. Wow. I couldn't believe it. They gave me a prescription after each procedure for 3 days of pain pills. I took one. Three intense procedures and only one pain pill the day after the tricky root canal. I am convinced it's because he didn't beat my mouth into submission, but finessed his way through each procedure. This guy is a real master of his tools and you will feel the difference! During the time I was there, he had referrals coming in from all these other clinics in town. He's the guy that everyone in town uses when they can't figure shit out! I heard him tell a couple of these patients that they didn't need root canals, but instead something else. He could have done the work and made the money, but he didn't. Wow again! He's such an honorable man. I talked to others around town while I was there and his office has a nickname; he's known as the tooth fairy. A fitting name for sure. Almost forgot to mention the work he did would cost about $15,000 in the US (because I still need a post and one more crown). It cost me $2.6k. Even without the huge cost savings, this was the best medical decision I've ever made. Also, a shout-out to his wife, Drs Vega, who fitted my crowns so well they look and feel completely natural, and his assistant who is telepathically connected to him and predicts his every move. She's as smooth as he is and they are a great team.

I chose Los Algodones due to the high cost of cosmetic dental work in the U.S., and I’m so glad I did. The prices were reasonable, the trip was simple, and the outcome was truly impressive. She applied a numbing gel before administering the shots (something no one else has ever done for me), and made sure I was fully numb before beginning the procedure. I also have veneers that were done incorrectly somewhere else, which has caused issues with my gums. She genuinely cared about my gum health and the appearance of my crowns. She recommended waiting for the swelling to go down before taking new impressions, ensuring the crowns would be properly positioned with my gums which were in bad shape from my bad veneers. Even the temporarys she placed looks better and natural compared to my old veneers . I’m beyond grateful for the level of care and professionalism I received. I also don’t have any pain at all after 3 root canals.

I drove down from Las Vegas that following week. I spent 3 days with Dr Vega (female part 😊) and she took amazing care of me. Gentle on all accounts. The worst part for me has always been the numbing and the drilling noises. Both unavoidable but she made it bearable. My Fitbit registered my hours in the chair as sleep! That’s how relaxed I was. I definitely wasn’t sleeping and couldn’t wait to be done but just trying to say she made an uncomfortable experience as comfortable as it possibly could be. I had a cleaning, 3 root canals, filling replacements, took care of my cavities, a bridge on my lower right side and front veneers for a perfect, beautiful smile. I highly suggest them.

Vega dental was miraculous to me. There was a really rough root canal and that only hurts a tiny bit when I forget to take the anti-inflammatory meds. The second root canal doesn't hurt at all. I wish I would have gotten more pics. The best dental experience of my life.

great and done by 5 PM. I was staying the night on Wednesday so I came in for a tweak adjustment for about 30 minutes Thursday morning then got into my car and headed home. Very little pain, she doesn't cut corners. Ya there's a fair amount of discomfort but that's to be expected with 12 crowns all at once. I took just 2 Advil on day one and that was it for the whole time. Pricing was exceptional, I will not discuss pricing because all cases are different. But wow, I am extremely happy, do not hesitate to give her a call or best, send an email. Xiomara is a wonderful person and skilled endodontist.

I only went yesterday. Time will tell. I can’t imagine getting better dental work at home in Canada. My only issue was something I’ve experienced before with other dentists in Los Algondones and that is that appointment times are only a suggestion. I made an appt for 9 and got into the dentist at sometime closer to 10:30. Small thing, since it’s a full day anyway with travel. Just that I wouldn’t have had to leave quite so early had I known. I would definitely recommend Dr. Xiomara and Vega’s Dental Solutions. (Plus, her and her assistant sometimes sang quietly to the music. Fun :-) Thanks!

treatment, I felt at least 90% better. I’m looking forward to being back to 100% percent pain-free after consecutive treatments. I highly recommend this dental office. It’s a short walk from the Algodones border and they speak fluent English.
