There are hundreds of dentists in Los Algodones. There is also a ton of fear mongering online in regards to this dental city of the world. My experience was excellent! really necessary since they are within a block of the border crossing), gave me recommendations for a place to stay, and did an excellent job at my dental work. MUCH better than I have experienced here in the States. And, of course, at 1/4 of the price! Their equipment is state of the art and their space is sparkling clean. Admittedly, I was a bit apprehensive about the whole thing - driving 11 hours to walk across the border to go to a dentist I knew nothing about to get a root canal and crown. But I am completely sold! The experience was nothing but positive, and I cringe now whenever I get the response, "Oh, that's so dangerous! Please be careful! I've heard terrible stories...", blah, blah, blah... Fear mongering, all of it. Vega Endodontics in Los Algodones definitely has my dental business from here on out, even with an 11 hour drive! I mean, how horrible is AFFORDABLE professional dental care, upscale $40 hotel rooms, fantastic quesadillas and $4 tequila shots??? C'mon...

I had an infected tooth within a previous root canal. The treatment/procedure involved removal of the existing crown, root canal to clean out the infection, seal with a temporary for four weeks, recheck for infection and crown impressions, and then refit with a new crown. my questions and was extremely thorough. The procedure went smoothly, on schedule and at a cost I could afford. I am looking ahead to get an implant in the future and have no reservations about recommending Dr Xiomara and Vega Endodontics!

After months of searching for a specialist I heard of this place thru a friend, I decided to give it a chance and I was surpised of the great work they did. Very professional and friendly people that make you feel comfortable during the process. Definitely recomend this clinic.

Extensive review Xiomara’s warmth, rapport, and English are so off-the-charts that you may say I love you the moment you hear her talk! Gazillion stars for that. ce. Los Algodones works as a community: an oral surgeon from Varto clinic came in to do my extraction and implant, which was relatively quick and easy. As for the worst part, Vega did the little denture: felt like getting my teeth knocked out each time it was taken out and almost impossible for myself to take out. He was gentler on this. They were so kind to continue to shape it when I could not remove it due to it digging painfully into my gum. After reshaping, still uncomfortable: blocked my tongue and was loose. I ended up only using this flipper the first few days for the clot. 4 months later, my teeth are less crowded than they have ever been. I wear my Invisalign retainers at night. Although much more costly, I recommend an Invisalign-type placeholder over the “flipper” (tiny denture) if a placeholder is needed. Then, wait 4-months for bone healing before abutment (likely best to get the same abutment brand/model as the implant for longevity) and top it with a zirconia crown, which is easier to shape and stronger than teeth. US dentists charge an arm and a leg. Here is $600 for the abutment and crown: fabulous!
5/5 would definitely recommend to anyone who needs dental work. Thank you guys for being amazing!
