If you want ugly and uneven teeth, as well as a rude and arrogant attitude, you are in the right place. They will make you an extremely inept bonding and then blame you if you accidentally didn't like it. Dr. Dzhoneva is extremely mean and nagging and I don't know what kind of aesthetic capacity she has, since all her teeth are crooked and yellow.

The clinic employs various specialists, which allows for comprehensive treatment. I went through all of them within nearly two years. for every patient. My case was mild and my reason for starting treatment was not aesthetic, but to take care of the health of my teeth. Yet, it was repeatedly explained to me how problematic my teeth were, including because of periodontitis and bone loss (something that a specialist periodontist and another orthodontist later refuted). For the failures at the end of the treatment, their reaction was that I was to blame, and no solution for correction was offered by them. My problem was mainly with the exposure of the gums, crowding of the lower front teeth, and a deep bite. The gums were supposed to recover with the correction of the inclination of the teeth (alas, it did not happen and the problem remained). For the crowding of the front teeth, the so-called stripping with 0.1-0.2 mm was planned, which would free up space between them. The stripping of the lower teeth was direct filing, and that repeatedly, including with a machine (and not with “strips”), which was not even uniform and broke off an edge of the filed tooth. I had turned to the Invisalign method, because I thought it was gentler than braces on the teeth. I was not informed from the beginning that attachments would be glued to my teeth, which at the end of the treatment would be filed from the teeth… After the treatment, the front upper teeth were filed and scratched after removing the attachments, and the scratches and grooves are visible even with the naked eye. During the treatment, the attitude was extremely unprofessional – nervous, rude, even arrogant when I asked a question or worried about the lack of information. Lack of guarantee for the achieved results, including their retention after the treatment. As retention, I was offered Invisalign retainers again (3 sets for 1500 BGN!), which would have been completely useless after the first new filling (and I had several old ones to replace). And after the treatment was over, I started changing the fillings so that more accurate contacts could be built on the teeth. Alas, the replaced fillings on the molars do not even make contact and all the pressure when eating is transferred to the other side, which leads to pain in the jaw and joint on the compensating side. The explanation was that in order not to break the tooth from the pressure, there is no contact with the upper teeth. There is no comprehensive treatment plan, despite the fact that there are several different specialists in the clinic, but no coordination between them. Lack of clear information before the start of treatment. There is no guarantee of results - it turned out that even after placing a fixed retainer, the lower teeth continue to move visibly only after the 2nd month from the end of treatment. There is no control over the process, because the aligners are ordered for 3 months in advance and they predict how the treatment should happen, but alas, even on the 4th-5th aligner for the lower jaw, it did not fit my teeth. And as a summary of my treatment - a lot of time, money and nerves wasted, rude and unprofessional attitude, short-lived and unsatisfactory result, visibly scratched teeth, distance between some of them, lack of contacts on replaced fillings. I would not recommend such an attitude and treatment to patients and I regret that I trusted VD dent.

Dear Nadia, We are sorry for your dissatisfaction with the treatment in our clinic. Every patient in our clinic is provided with all retention options, one of which is the Invisalign retainers, so that an informed decision can be made, and there is a separate consultation for this. According to the specific case, the appropriate retention or combination of them is placed. After you thought about it, you chose the fixed retention and despite the warnings that the teeth are not stable enough for some time after the treatment, you refused to wear a removable retention at night. If you do not follow the doctor's recommendations, no guarantee can be given. The aligners are made at the beginning of the treatment based on a detailed plan, analysis and visualization. Each aligner has specific movements. The reason for the aligner not fitting is its incorrect wearing and failure to follow the orthodontist's instructions. Interproximal reduction (better known as stripping) is a routine procedure in any orthodontic treatment, regardless of whether it is performed with braces or aligners. The procedure aims, on the one hand, to provide space, on the other hand, in periodontally compromised patients (such as you) to change the contact points and influence the retraction of the gum and the formation of so-called black triangles between the teeth. When moving into the interdental contacts with strips (which can be manual or machine), a symbolic part of the enamel is removed, with a maximum of 0.25 mm for one tooth. The procedure is performed in stages or “multiple times”, for the sake of the patient’s comfort and the duration of the manipulation. After completion of orthodontic treatment, defective fillings (fillings) need to be replaced. During their replacement, if this is done in stages, temporary removable retainers are made so as not to compromise the final result. It is not possible to upgrade them to satisfy your vision, since the contacts need to comply with the location of the opposing teeth. Otherwise, there would be trauma from occlusion or fracturing of the relevant structures. We would be happy to hear from these anonymous colleagues “specialist periodontist and orthodontist” to discuss with them the “absence” of periodontitis in teeth that have bone loss, mobility and “exposed gums”, as you describe it. All these prerequisites classify the case as anything but a cure.
