Impressed with the professionalism of the entire team. They know their stuffs. Procedures were explained in depth and all fees are discussed up front. Will definitely be back!!
I saw so many feedback. So I decided to input my experience. I couldn't understand why I was told to indergo 2 times of X ray and double charge. To me the it might violate safety regulations which I should have compain to MOH. It happened about over 2 years ago. My first and last trip

We wish to clarify that the two X-rays taken during Mr. Lim’s visit (over two years ago) were different imaging types — an OPG and a 3D CBCT scan — used for separate purposes in line with MOH guidelines. Please be assured that there was no double charge; only the CT scan was billed, while the OPG was included at no additional cost. We understand that Mrs. Lim was not present during the consultation, which may have led to some miscommunication. If you would like, we are happy to provide a duplicate copy of the itemised receipt for your reference.
Love the service and environment! All dental procedures were professionally done by Dr Sia. Each member of staff has a proclivity to be efficient, helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend!
Dr Sabrena provided quality and amazing service! I’m 10/10 satisfied with the results. Would definitely recommend this clinic, it’s clean and they take precautionary measures for all patient’s safety!
Dr Sia is very experienced and has helped my daughter tremendously in correcting her under-bite and over-crowded teeth. All his staffs are well trained and courteous. Glad I came here. She has a nice smile now
To be honest, I would not recommend this clinic as the dentist is quite rough. I have to edit this review in view of the comments from this Dental Clinic below. se as the Dentist have explained, they are bound to use a cheaper X-ray procedure for insurance purposes (but I have later on sought the same x-ray at another dental panel clinic and was surprised to find that it was not painful at all, hence I assume it is down to the Dentist handling). Also, after going through the entire X-ray, the dentist had offered to do scaling (which is covered under my insurance as well), and I can safely said that out of the all my dental visits to various clinics, this is hands down the worst and most rough experience. (ii) not performing the said treatment and insurance card expired- At that point of time, my insurer have yet to issue a new card, but I believe the Dentist have omitted the fact that prior to commencing the X-ray, he have called the insurer to verify whether i am still covered under the insurance, and the answer was yes, I was covered. I am sure he would not have proceeded to do the X-ray without having obtained the necessary assurance from the insurer. (iii) on not being the dentist in charge of my treatment - My insurer have recommended for me to seek one of its panel dentist to do a further X-Ray for insurance claims purposes. There is no requirement from my insurer that the X-ray must be done by the same dentist in which i have earlier sought treatment. I find it amusing that this issue was constantly brought up by the Dentist in charge during the whole unpleasant X-ray procedure and even now, on google review. (iv) the X-Ray done by the Dentist was so blur that it rejected by the insurer - to lend further credence to my one star rating, the worst part after going through the X-ray procedure with this Uptown Dental Surgery, and after going through a hard time listening to the Dentist lamenting that my original dentist treatment work is bad, was that the Dentist own X-ray was rejected by the Insurer because it was too blur and i had to make another round trip to a different panel Dentist in SS2, which fortunately was an incredibly professional and painless process (despite using the same X-ray method). I trust my edited post here is sufficient to provide context on why I have rated this one -star. I am sure Uptown Dental Surgery would continue to strive to provide better services and wish them all the best.

To clarify, the periapical X-ray (PA) you underwent is indeed an older technology that uses films with sharper edges, which can sometimes cause discomfort. Our clinic has upgraded to digital panoramic imaging (DPT), which is much more comfortable, but as your insurance plan did not cover this option, we proceeded with the PA method in line with your coverage. We understand that this may not have been a pleasant experience and regret if our explanation at the time was not clear enough. Went to get my wisdom tooth removed. I spent RM1380 for the entire procedure (Includes scaling, salt blasting, X ray, and the surgery itself) and I genuinely am so satisfied with the treatment. The doctor was incredibly reassuring and professional, and the entire procedure was done in an hour.

Went for scaling here, which should cost around RM120-150, but ended up with RM530 bill as the dentist tricked you in getting more procedures done WITHOUT your acknowledgment (xray and filling were done without informing the patient prior to it).
