No parent should leave a medical appointment feeling like their child was scared and traumatized because the clinic couldn’t be upfront from the start. Honesty and preparation matter — especially with kids. We won’t be coming back.

During a first visit, it is very common for young children to feel anxious or uncooperative in a new clinical environment. This is a normal part of pediatric dental care and does not indicate a lack of readiness or professionalism. In this case, the dentist was unable to perform an intraoral examination because the child was not cooperative during the visit, which is not uncommon during a first dental appointment for young children. In such situations, our approach focuses on gradually building the child’s familiarity and trust with the dental environment and care team, which may require more than one visit. This approach prioritizes the child’s emotional well-being and, when possible, helps avoid general anesthesia, which carries higher risks. That said, we sincerely apologize for any miscommunication or misunderstanding regarding the expectations of the initial visit. We truly regret the inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your feedback, which will help us improve our communication and service moving forward.

Dentist for kids The kids love it. The doctor is understanding, not rushed, and provides thorough examinations. The hospital's mouse teeth cleaning doesn't irritate the mouth. Perfect for those with dry, cracked lips or canker sores.
