nt desk assistant spoke English. America could learn from Costa Rica’s dental process. It was seamlessly streamlined. Their office is located in a beautiful building, seemingly filled with other medical and dental offices. My husband had difficulty with the impressions. The doctor was able to accommodate and creatively provide a solution. We were treated with such respect and greeted with professionalism and kindness. We will return in four months for his permanent set and I’m sure that visit will also be no less than the best.

felt hopeless. When my denture broke three months ago and my dentist wanted $1,400 for another low-quality temporary, I was finally open to exploring alternatives. My husband had already looked into dental tourism and found Costa Rica. At first, I thought he was crazy—but after doing my own research, I narrowed it down to eight clinics. Star Dental stood out for their fast responses, reasonable pricing, and comprehensive treatment plan. Dr. Sevilla at Star Dental proposed the same plan as my U.S. dentist—plus additional work on my lower teeth—for nearly half the cost. From the coordinator to the staff and Dr. Sevilla himself, everyone treated me with compassion and professionalism. Though the procedures (extractions, implants, crowns) were intense, it was hands down the best dental experience I’ve ever had. I’m incredibly grateful to Dr. Sevilla and the Star Dental team. They gave me back my confidence, my smile, and the ability to eat without discomfort. I can’t recommend them enough.

was met with compassion and empathy. Melissa is easy to speak with, thorough and quick to refer you to Dr Sevilla for questions she’s unable to answer. Dr. Sevilla and his staff are wonderful, professional and kind. Dr. Sevilla is very talented, an artist and perfectionist, really. He personally called me to discuss the procedure and called me about a week after I returned home after Phase 1 of All on 4, top and bottom. as many of my good teeth as possible, where with other places, it was never presented…… On my first visit, they took out all the “Junk” and placed implants where I had no teeth. A total of 7 implants. Then I went home to let the implants heal. I also had two bone grafts. I am a sissy when it comes to dental work, and paid a little more for “conscious” sedation in the initial extraction process. This is highly recommended if you are like me and pain! 4 months later, we returned for the final process. I did spend many hours in the chair, but Dr Sevilla and Natalya are both docs who take the time to do it right. So to sum it up, I got 7 implants, zirconium crowns on those, AND one more on one of my good teeth. So a total of 8 crowns. The price on all of this including our airfare, was probably a third of what we would have paid in the states, with NO skimping or cutting corners. We were treated as if we were their #1 customer, and were alloted all the time needed for the procedure. I also infortunately needed 4 cavities taken care of….my fault for not flossing well in between my first visit and last! I highly recommend them. We most likely will go back in April for a check up, and more of a vacation. Spend the time……save the money……and know you are in good hands. The ONLY issue I had was the language barrier and my poor Spanish. The doctors did speak fluent English, which really helped. Thank you Star Dental. You exceeded my expectations, and any fears I had going in.
The Care and the procedure that I went through was top-notch. However if I could do it again I would opt for the gas. But I'm satisfied with the work I'm so happy. I had two upper Bridges implanted. I'm totally satisfied with the professionalism and the care that was provided to me. I would recommend Star dental to anyone who's looking to get implants and not afraid to travel outside of the US.

days free before my oral surgery to tour CR.The second trip was about 2/3 months later, for about 8/10 days and I had a week free for exploring. On my second trip Dr sevilla was not happy with one of the crown so they remade it twice till it was perfect and Dr Sevilla and the lab tech worked until midnight to get it perfect, since my flight was the next day. I had my US dentist check the work and he said it was perfect and better than alot of the implant work that he saw being done in the US. Truly an outstanding dentist. Highly recommend

Had a full mouth of implants done with Dr Carolina Cespedes with Star Dental. I can't explain how comfortable she made me feel. She took her time and she gave me my smile back. The whole staff from Melissa who coordinates everything from Seattle is very efficient, does an excellent job setting everything up and communicating between you and dental office. If you have a question she will find the answer in a timely manner. Romey the receptionist is knowledgeable, multi tasker, helpful and well organized. Overall I would give them10 star rating.
