Sofia Dental Studio

Dr. Petar Kostov co-founded Sofia Dental Studio and has earned a strong reputation among patients for his exceptional attentiveness and clinical competence. Patient reviews describe him as one of the most careful and thorough dentists they have encountered, qualities that are especially valued in complex cases requiring precise technique and patient communication. Dr. Rayna Ruseva brings her own specialist expertise to the practice and shares Dr. Kostov's commitment to individualized, evidence-based care. The team also includes Dr. Radeva, who contributes to the clinic's multidisciplinary capacity. Together, the three dentists cover the clinic's core specialties and ensure that patients do not need to look elsewhere for specialist referrals.

Endodontics is one of Sofia Dental Studio's primary specializations. Root canal treatment is performed with precision and a focused goal: to preserve the natural tooth for as long as possible by thoroughly eliminating infection from within the root canal system. The team uses contemporary endodontic instruments and techniques to achieve reliable canal cleaning, shaping, and sealing. For patients who have been told their tooth cannot be saved, a second opinion from the studio's endodontic team can sometimes reveal that a different or more nuanced approach opens the door to successful treatment.

Aesthetic dental medicine at Sofia Dental Studio covers the range of cosmetic treatments that allow patients to achieve the smile they want. Teeth whitening, dental veneers, composite bonding, ceramic crowns, and complete smile design consultations are available for patients seeking cosmetic improvement. The studio's approach to aesthetics is guided by a careful analysis of each patient's facial features, existing dental proportions, and personal preferences, ensuring that results are natural, harmonious, and lasting.

The prosthetics department restores teeth and replaces missing ones using fixed and removable solutions. Dental crowns repair severely damaged or root-treated teeth by covering the remaining tooth structure with a durable, aesthetically matched restoration. Bridges replace missing teeth by anchoring to adjacent natural teeth, while dental implants provide a freestanding permanent fixed solution that preserves bone and does not involve neighboring teeth. Removable partial and full dentures are also available for patients requiring more extensive tooth replacement.

Gum health is a priority at Sofia Dental Studio. Professional cleaning, scaling and root planing, and periodontal therapy address gum disease at all stages, from early gingivitis to more advanced periodontitis. The team educates patients on effective home care routines to complement professional treatment and reduce the risk of recurrence. Healthy gums are the foundation of a healthy smile, and the studio treats periodontal care as an integral part of the overall patient journey rather than an afterthought.

Sofia Dental Studio takes particular care with its youngest patients. The pediatric dental approach is defined by gentleness, patience, and a concerted effort to make children feel safe and comfortable from their very first visit. Services include preventive check-ups, fluoride treatments, sealant application, and the treatment of cavities in both primary and permanent teeth. The studio places great importance on building positive dental associations early in childhood, which research consistently shows reduces dental anxiety in adulthood. Patient families describe the studio as a place where children -- and their parents -- feel genuinely welcomed and cared for.

Centrally located, open every day of the week, and staffed by a team of dedicated specialists who treat every patient as an individual, Sofia Dental Studio offers a quality of dental care in Sofia that stands out for its combination of expertise, accessibility, and genuine human warmth.
