The experience was fantastic. I was treated in Caracas. Although he's always traveling between Mexico and Venezuela, I waited for my turn, and the whole process was wonderful.

I found Dr. Maarten on Instagram, based on pictures of his great work. I asked him if he works with international patients, and he said absolutely, that that was 70% of his business. Requested to schedule the appt. The assistant contacted me. He/She does not speak English effectively, but did their best. Told me appts were only available in the morning at 9 or 9:30 AM PST, which is 7 AM for me. The earliest appt was 2.5 weeks away. I accepted the early hour, since I already paid my fee and uploaded all the pics. 3 days before the appt I got a reminder text, and a request to send pictures again, to the Dr. directly. I told them I already uploaded all of those to their system, they need to share it with the Dr. directly. (Why do I need to do it again??). I got a reminder text again the night before my appt. Then on the appt, I logged in, and waited. 10 minutes no response. I tried calling the Dr. directly, no response. I messaged the assistant, the assistant says, don't worry, Dr. will be there. No indication of when. Then I get a message that says they'd like me to reschedule to 7 AM the next day. Throughout this conversation, the assistant gave up on English/Google translate altogether and just messaged me in Spanish. Understandable, given the office is in Mexico, but NOT a good experience if you say 70% of your business is International. I had to ask 3x for a refund and didn't quite understand what the assistant was telling me. This is not professional. If they can't get their act together for an appt, or at least communicating around an appt, I can't trust them to be reliable or timely for an international visit to get work done.
