I personally asked the College of Dentists of Mexico City because from the first consultation I suspected that something there was not normal. When I asked him if I wanted to see Fontan's dental certificate, he said, "IF I SHOW IT TO YOU, WILL THAT MAKE YOU HAPPY?" Unfortunately, I asked him when I had already returned home... because at the office, the guy really surprised me with his dishonesty. I did NOT expect anything like that. From the moment I walked into the clinic, this guy, without any scruples, had Filiberto Fontan examine my teeth and insert temporary restorations, knowing that he is NOT a dentist. Obviously, he did a terrible job, left part of a black thread, and I had a serious infection. And believe it or not, he charged me an additional $1,000 for the temporary restorations. For the consultation, he charges $83.33, and Fontan, who is NOT a dentist, also does the restorations. I took out my phone to show him the photos from his posts and tell him what I wanted, and he did NOT want to even look at them! Obviously, because they are with Filters. I asked him about the color I wanted, and he said, "YOU DON'T CHOOSE THE COLOR HERE." There are no color palettes here. Don't trust photos on social media. This guy never posts videos of him having done a single job. The photos he posts are lies. He asks his friends to tell them he's the best dentist. This guy is a guy who makes the community of good and honest professionals in Mexico City look bad. THIS GUY HAS ZERO PROFESSIONAL ETHICS.

One thing I must say is that because Dr. Marteen is highly requested and has a lot of international clients, it is normal to sometimes have to wait a few minutes and although online consultations are convenient they can never replace an in person consultation. If you are a little difficult or not flexible at all this is not the place for you. I was late a couple of times and they were still able to see me, which was great because I’m traveling from the U.S. Overall I highly recommend this place to anyone who is willing to invest on quality and great results. Also, as soon as the installation was finished, they made me sign a form stating I was satisfied with the result (while I was still under anesthesia, which I realized was SO unprofessional, because you can't express any dissatisfaction later). When my treatment ended (approximately two years due to orthodontics and the pandemic… oh, and because I didn't want orthognathic surgery, even though they told me at the beginning it would take six months), they didn't even take before-and-after photos. Dr. Viloria had recommended a non-fixed retainer, and Dr. Marteen put a fixed one on the back, which was a failure and shifted my entire treatment, and now my teeth are crooked again. The team is good, but you receive better service when there aren't any celebrities around ;) Of all of them, Dr. Viloria is the best; he's truly professional, kind, I never felt uncomfortable, and he doesn't portray anything on social media that isn't real. The veneers turned out well, yes, there's no doubt about it. But it's really a job you can get done elsewhere, receiving the kind of treatment you deserve when you're paying for a service that isn't cheap at all.

I am currently being treated at the Mexico office and I have been welcomed by an amazing staff that helps when it comes to scheduling my flights into Mexico City and my appointments. Everything is done very smoothly. I strongly suggest coming to Smile Emporium since the doctors listen to all your needs and the results are just unbelievable. A+++
